Will you hold the door open for me, a pregnant lady with a toddler and a 3 year old? So many times, (mostly rude teen boys) just let it slam in my face, stroller and all..and do not even look back to see if anyone is there. My 3 year old son holds the door for everyone because I taught him that. Please?

I always hold the door for anyone else I see approaching. If it's a woman, or someone with their arms full, or an elderly person, I'll even wait and hold the door for them if they are still a fair distance away when I go through. Common courtesy. It's a dying thing. I'm glad you're teaching it to your children. Many parents, today, don't.

Well I admit, I sometimes don't hold the door because I'm usually talking to my mom, or am on the phone, or spacing out so there will be sometimes I look back and I didn't even know why I did and then somebody gets the door in their face.

However I do hold the door whenever possible, like how hold it for three seconds max and if a person is too far away I just let it close. I'd most likely hold the door for you, because I don't know it's called not being an ***.

But if I don't it's not because I'm rude it's just because I'm spacing out - majorly.
blondie.

I'm with you on that one!!! My children are 14 months apart, and when they were babies, I had a double stroller to push around. Try getting one of those through a door!!! But people just don't bother paying attention...I hold the door open for anyone who's behind me, and I teach my children the same!!

I would, especially if it were a pregnant lady with a toddler and a 3 year old.
Regardless, I do and try to hold it for even a little when I'm in a rush.

It would be a very proper thing to hold to the door for whomever is behind you. If there is someone close by, who sees that you are coming to the door, then it would be very kind to get the door anyway. Teens these days have little to no respect.

I always hold doors open for people. Its not exactly difficult, is it.

My 6 year old son held a door open for an old lady this afternoon and said "Ladies first" to her.... I was so proud of him (although shouting at him two minutes later, obviously)

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've had pretty good luck with people holding doors for me. Once every couple of months I'll run into a jerk. I find most offenders are women, they feel as though the door should be held for them, but they don't think twice about holding it for someone else. Not all women, but some.

I hold the door for men, children, women; it doesn't matter to me.

It many times relies upon on opinion extremely. fairly some feminist perspectives have taken over and now and adult men do not want to belittle ladies or something. i could say it an the two be the female or the guy who asks the otter one out, however for my section i could want it to be the guy. and fairly some ladies do unlike boys conserving open doors for them, yet lower back for my section i think of its candy and gentlemanly. It generally relies upon on the guy and the view of the adult men he's surrounded with, hes unlikely to wish to act in a diverse way or seem ordinary.

As a friend, I would hold the door for you you, and even as an enemy because we shall love our enemies no matter what, and we also shall love the children no matter what, but we should educate them in the correct way. Do you agree with me?? If not, still have 2 points LOL

I'd definitely hold the door for you, but I tend to hold the door for anyone who looks like they have a handful, the infirm, or just to be nice. I'm a bleeding heart do-gooder, though!
