we have to meet our sons go to same school when we meet it is obvious there is the dislike question what can i do to be more friendly or at least offer some hope i get on with most people or should i just ignore her like she does me even when we speak very rare there is no eye contact or should i just accept it and go in with the view cant please them all any ideas appreciated thanks

Unfortunately you have discovered you must be as hypocritical as other people,many of us have had to learn to smile at, and be pleasant to, this sort of person.This person may just be shy or feel awkward round others and not mix well,you may have read it wrong.However there are many people who can talk about and criticise others to you and want you to listen to their problems,but if you behave the same way with them,they say--"dont even go there"--or something else as silly.Double standards are a fact of life.

Just ignore it...please don't waste your time trying to please her...or get you to like her. She isn't worth your precious time...life is too short...
Just forgive her and move one...and she will at least respect you for not trying to suck up to her. This is how many people get power...by acting this way...and it is downright childish.
Find someone else to talk to who likes you.
Don't give her anymore eye contact either...and you will feel better. When you get rejected that way...your energy is depleted.
Let her go. Be your happy cheerful self...and don't worry about her at all..and you will draw more people like yourself to yourself...and that will be really fun for you. Which is great because you like to have fun.

Its just one off those things no one in the world gets on with every person they know or meet ignore her and forget her and just get on with your life she is not worth the bother

Perhaps she is shy or depressed or there is some other reason which is not due to you personally.Try small talk ie is your son in the whatever football club etc.She may be wraqpped up in her own problems and unaware of how she appears to you.

Let it go and be the better person. But don't kill yourself to be nice to here either, it will open you up for her to be mean to you. Make sure you look really good at the PTA meetings and such!

got 1 co-worker just like your situation we don't talk unless we are working together it only about work. its hard at break time when all the women get together and gossip. i hate that so much. just ignore the person. if i don't have anything nice to say then i don't. they don't your bills so who cares what they think and say. treat with kindness though, respect.

Learn the art of "One Upmanship one liners" eg; if she happens to be wearing a nice dress which you know to be a designer label then say " I really do love that dress, didn't i see that in Tesco's". It really does make meeting some one you don't like a plesure.

just accept it sometimes two people have an instant dislike
of each other for no reason. just be friendly in a distant way

Be polite if you have some reason to interact with her, but don’t make an extra attempt to be friends.
