I watch my friends little boys for her (ages 4-3-2) when they go potty, I try to teach them to wipe their wee wee, when they are done.....my friend gets mad at me, beacause she says thats feminine...they should just shake and go. Guys...do you just shake and go....or do you wipe?

If you don't wipe, would'nt you smell like pee at the end of the day? I used to work with this guy, that by the end of the day...he had like a light urine stain in the front of his pants.....

honestly, it depends on how i feel, if I'm in a rush then i shake. But since these are little boys, you are teaching them right. Wiping off is not only hygienic, but it's the right thing to do. As they get older they can make their own decisions. Also, being little boys, their wee wee, as you call it, are not yet long enough to shake b/c leftover pee would get all over their underwear and not in the toilet where it belongs. Besides, there not your friends kids so she should stay out of it. I would ask their mom what she teaches them.

Yes Mother I will and the lid is down too! LOL
Potty training 101 for boy's, and men that haven't learned the art of inside use of the " Ladies room".
boy's don't wipe, we drip or shake off do to gravity and the shape of the head. For some if the skin is still intact wiping would only seem like it should be needed, but I can't speak to that part of this course.
The tell-tail stain, caused by not directing the stream into the bowl or target on the snow, if your outside playing! The spray sometimes goes in two directions tell the force of the flow opens up the path way to a gusher!
Mother said if you tinkle on my floor you clean the whole room. with 15 boys mother had to set rules and limits, so the Girls had their own room and a hall bathroom for them. The boy's had a bathroom in our bedroom, 24 ft wide and 42 ft long. with bunk beds and chest for clothes, and a large walk in closet for all of us to hang our clothes in and toys under. Note boy's note the other way around.
We learned to sit down inside of the house, less house work for us and it was a nicer smelling room too!

In 49 years I have not once found the need to do anything but shake and go! Your friend is correct, she wants her boys to grow up to be men, not little prissy girly types!
Why are you trying to make them into girls?

Wow I had no idea that there were guys that wiped it...do you think that a lot of guys wipe it if they use a urinal? There is no toilet paper near them. Wiping that is something that guys should not do...

Shake, no smell, and the other guy didn't get done or he had some sort of bladder control issue.

well it certainly doesn't hurt to be clean but if they finish and make sure they are it should be okay, a little wipe isn't gonna hurt it is actually more hygenic because most men won't admit that you need to clean yourselves for sanitary reasons. i try to keep myself clean to the best of my ability, whatever it takes. no one wants to smell like urine any time of the day.

Why are you imposing YOUR ideas on HER kids? SHE doesn't want them taught that and you should respect it. Don't give them conflicting instructions.
You're not a friend if you don't teach her children the way she wants them taught.
You're spending wwwaaaayyy too much time worrying about this...
