i am a private tutor. his parents are cool w/ paying me but i'm not sure if this is morally correct.

There's a girl that I started talking to since we haven't talked in over a year. She'd stare at me the whole time we never talked. Well I started back talking to her, and at first she'd just ignore me in person (we talked on messenger). If she looked at me, she'd have a shy fit; she blushes and looks away or bites her lip when she used to see me. Well she blushes occasionally when she sees me now, but not much. Well now she only talks to me when she wants something such as: homework help, me to carry something to a class for her, or school stuff etc. Today, I walked into the office where she's an assistant, and I didn't look at her and didn't speak to her cause I figured I'd ignore her now. Then I said something stupid on purpose as I walked out the door, and she laughed. Is she worth talking to or what since the only time she talks to me is when she wants something. Well sometimes, she says my name and smiles at me, that's about it.

The security gaurd at my work on the weekends is making me uncomfortable. He is always asking me what I want to eat and that sorta thing. When I go on a break he's right there "having" to talk with me. Let me tell you I brush this guy off so many times. I dont want to be mean but this has got to stop. My coworkers think he likes me but I'm happily married to wonderful man. I dont understand why he's singling me out when he knows I'm married. I dont find him appealing at all. Not even his personality. I wish he'd leave me alone. I know if I say anything to his boss it could mean trouble, especially for me.

I am a 24 year-old with a Bachelor's Degree, and yet I seem to fail at customer service jobs. I've tried everything from retail to supervising at museums, and I just can't deal with the public. I don't understand this. When Im hanging out with my friends, Im happy and get along with them. And they all call me a funny and outgoing person. But at work, when customers ask me questions like "where's the bathroom" when its clearly in front of them, I cringe and have to force a smile. Recently, when customers ask me questions, I say "What do you think?" Or "It's obvious, why are you asking me?" My manager has had to write me up several times for bad customer service. Why am I so bad with the public when Im so outgoing in my personal life? How come others I work with seem to be able to smile at the customers even when they hate it? What kind of job can I get that doesnt deal with people since obviously Im not good at it? AND WHY AM I SO BAD AT IT?

Don't you hate it when you are eating around other people, and they start leaning over you and asking you a million questions about what you are eating? It's so annoying, when you are eating and people are asking stupid questions and leaning over you. Why do people must lean over you, and ask you "Is it good?" What difference does it make? It's even more annoying when you are sitting down to eat, and someone asks you what you are eating? They can't figure it out themselves? What do you think?

I wanted to know if any else found this a little disrespectful:

Your working at the register and you tell the cosutmer the total they put the money on the counter. Whether they threw it or placed it nicely. The only thing I can understand is when someone is counting change, even then I will pick it up and give it to the person. Is is me or are there others out there?

very personal question...and you just say.."i feel UNCOMFORTABLE answering that"...(in fact, you are shocked!)....but then the boss says.."why are you uncomfortable?"...you just look at them....and just say.."I am uncomfortable... My question, what is wrong with someone like that???.shouldn't they have left well enough alone when you answered the first time??? i think so...give me your opinion...it is like they are badgering me!!!

So I just met this girl, about 2 weeks ago...and I know it's a bit early (which is a good thing) but I was wondering what's a good gift to give to her for turkey day/x-mas. Recently i got into an argument with a friend over pot. I completely denounce the entire idea of it, and it makes me sick. He, however, said that i have no right to denounce it if i have never done it myself. I said that while I personally might not have done it, I've seen others who have....and he replied by saying that i have no idea...

Making a long story short, we ended up screaming at each other in the middle of the high school hallway and (in a very cliche manner) walking away in opposite directions.

I just wanted to know what other people thought on the subject.

I have a friend whos getting married, shes more like an aquaintance these days, when my father died a traumatic death i asked her to come to the funeral, she never came and said she didnt go because she went to a funearl 3 weeks earlier and its alot to handle. It really hurt me and i felt it was a cheap excuse, didnt feel like she was a real friend.
Now she expects me to go to her wedding? why should i ? she wasnt there for me in my worst day why should i be there on her best day?

I am become unhappy.. if people are inconsederate.I got hurt easily when people saying a bad words towards me.bad comment even i know is not true.when i ask advice of my friend how to correct that types of behavior.They are always says ignore it.Its still hurting me.I cant take negative people and unpolite.people I got hurt so bad I wonder why they can easily those unkindly words to other people.I feel you have no right to say something to someone.or become snappy. and rude.I am wondering if this is really the real world people are so mean.I grow up in the farm i never feel people saying bad to me even when i was in high school and colleges.My teacher respect me all classmates my family.when i come over here in america.everything is changes.Its like i have culture shock!.I keep thinking about them over and over.what im going to do?

i work in the gravell pits all day an when i get home, i wanna rest, eat dinner an get me a little lovin from the ole lady. after she makes me dinner an puts the 4 rug rats too bed, i expect a littel cuz i gotta work in the morning. she says i stink an at least shower, but what the point? just gonna get dirty in the morning anyways. i like showerin in the mornin but the old lady hogs the bathroom cause shes a nurse an she gotta be cleen. whats the deal?

she has lung cancer and shes been given at least 7-10 days left. shes in a bad way and is mumbling a lot to herself, she even claims shes seeing dead people. and on one occasion even said "im not ready to go yet mum go away".. im just wondering if this is normal for dying people? and if its happened before to others?
