Which side of a letter do you write, WHERE you want the letter 2 go? The address basically!?

Top right mine address and the date but no name.
The name and address of the addressee on the left before the greeting leaving one line between the address and the greeting.

It is perhaps a little old fashioned to put the address of the addressee after the end of the letter on the left hand side.
