no! that means you have integrity not to be like that other person and maturity not to act so stupidly. way to have some self-control! i wish i did!

Well, it depends. Are you not speaking up because you don't want conflict, or because it doesn't matter enough to you to bother? There are ways to stand up for yourself without being drawn into other people's drama, or down to their level. Just say, "I won't be spoken to that way. If you want to talk about it like an adult I'll be here. " and walk away.

No, not really. I think it means that you're choosing not to engage with that person because they are obviously out of line. You're taking the high road and that's a good thing.
