Don't you hate it when you are eating around other people, and they start leaning over you and asking you a million questions about what you are eating? It's so annoying, when you are eating and people are asking stupid questions and leaning over you. Why do people must lean over you, and ask you "Is it good?" What difference does it make? It's even more annoying when you are sitting down to eat, and someone asks you what you are eating? They can't figure it out themselves? What do you think?

Yes, it's annoying! The most someone should say is "That looks tasty," and NOT with that annoying jealousy in their voice, either. Then if you feel like talking about it ("Oh, yeah, it's my grandma's recipe, blah blah blah") or offering them a bite, you can. If you just respond with "yeah, it's pretty good," they should drop it.
Sometimes they may have a genuine reason for asking - like "Is that a TV dinner? I'd like to get one next time I go shopping. It looks good." Try not to bite their head off.

yes I do. Usually it's because they want you to say "Do you want to try some?" so I just go on eating and don't offer them any. My aunt used to do that in every restaurant we went to; she would complain about everything, we would have to change tables, the A/C was too cold, etc you name it and she would go through the menu and maybe order a small appetizer then take one bite and complain about it then she would go around the table asking us how our food was, what was it, what did it taste like, etc she got to me and asked me if it was good and I said it's great! and kept eating without offering her any...I just hated it when she did that, all for attention, Drove me nuts. And every time we went to the red Lobster and I ordered lobster she would go on and on about lobster being slimy; she must have said slimy about a hundred times before my Mom finally told her to stop.
Then they would come to our house for lunch and that was another trial! My uncle would scarf down all the potato chips and talk with his mouth full and spray them all over the table. He ate like a horse. One time my aunt left her upper plate on the dining room table and my uncle missed his aim in the bathroom and I had to mop the floor!

That drives me absolutely nuts. Like you are eating a sandwich, and someone feels the need to say, "so eating a sandwich ha?" As if it wasn't abundantly clear that you were. I have a relative that does that all the time, it is maddening.

Yeah, I'm surrounded by idiots who ask pointless questions about what I'm doing. You have eyes, use them and surprise the world.

I've never had this happen to me, but people who do this obviously aren't mature enough to attend a dinner party.
