I bought the recycling bin and the trash can and I am always the one taking out the trash other than my roommates. I had enough so I just grabbed my two bins and put them by my bedside. I thought they got the picture when they started putting trash in a plastic bag. but this was last sunday. The trash is still in the bag and it is mixed with recycles!!! It is still there and overflowing! it's not my trash and I don't understand why they aren't taking it out! are they waiting for me to do it??

they also never clean the shower or sinks. I find phlegm all over because they are smokers. It's disgusting.

I know last year I was having some issues and had a hard time focusing on cleaning things and my old roommates had to nag me.

but this is like worse then ME! I thought I was a slob! I guess I'm not that bad after all.

today I came back to find the window open. It's serious because I knew it was raining this weekend! what if I left my laptop on the desk?

help!

I want to hang a large American flag over my bed. However, I was wondering if, say, a veteran would consider this disrespectful. Is how I hang it relevant?

Oh, and spare me Who cares?'s and Don't care!'s, will you?

I'm 17 and am not really bothered about the level of swearing someone uses in my presence, it doesn't bother me at all. Now, I've met quite a lot of people (mainly 40+) who genuinely find too much swearing offensive. Not to say they never swear, everyone does occasionally, but they seem to find someone using a swear word between every other word offensive.

So, is swearing something you sensitize to with age?

Why are SOME people on here rude? I mean, you ask a question and they attack you.

Being the highly involved, driven and thirsty for knowledge individual that I am, I have started writing letters to people that I feel I have something to contribute to, and in the process possibly benefit from. This includes authors, politicians, musicians, athletes (The Tiger Woods' of the athletic world, not the Michael Vicks'), writers, and many others. There are several things I'm unsure of though, and your help would be appreciated. I do not know if there are any special procedures or 'unwritten' guidelines I should follow when writing to them. Further more, I don't know if I should write the letters or type them. I feel that I should use my discretion, as typed letters may be misconstrued as spam/trash and ignored. I feel ignorant asking these questions, but I really don't know. Anything you have to contribute would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I get mad when someone with a couple of items wants me to let them in line. I waited patiently for my turn and isn't that the purpose of the express line?

A friend of mine is 18 and weighs abit more then me around 84 kilograms and i am 16 i weight around 58 kilograms. he is taller then me.

He is a friend of mine and we use to play (carry each other when we where kids) he still jumps on my back and ask me to try to carry him on my shoulders when where on the beach or pool. He is too heavy for me know since i struggle to hold him and it takes me ages to stand in the water if his on my shoulders. Tell me what to tell him, i dont wana make him sad or break his feelings.

One instance he asked me to piggyback him and he stayed on my back for continous 8 or 10 minutes and hours later i had a back pain.

is it dangerous if i continue allowing him to ride on my back and shoulders? ?

You are at the check-out. The clerk hands you your change and/or purchase, and she looks behind you or to the side of you, but not at you. No thank you, doesn't bother to even look in your direction to make sure she is handing the change or bag to you. Should I just let the stuff drop on the counter next time.

My husband and I were invited to a party (pig roast)-of a coworker. This coworker happens to live in the same city where we work. We went to the party, had some food and my hubby had some drinks (I can't drink right now b/c I'm pregnant). After a little while I noticed one of my students was at the party. It turns out this student is dating my husband's co-worker's younger cousin. (follow that?) By about 7pm, I noticed several other students were showing up. I don't really know this co-worker, but I couldn't understand why several of my high school students were showing up to this roast. Even though I wasn't doing anything in appropriate (drinking, smoking, etc), I felt awkward and wanted to leave. I was fearful that I could not only be sending the wrong message to my students, but it was possible I could have seen something that I would be legally forced to report. I felt that my presence was inappropriate. My hubby disagreed because I wasn't doing "anything wrong". Who's right?

... it's not intended to be rude just very curious. This from a guy first male born in USA in his family. Don't het me but just curious. The question is ... Why do black people consider themselves African American if nobody in they're family has ever seen Africa in 100 years. Wouldn't you be considered just an American who happens to have a dark skin tone? I feel rude... I just feel too many Americans claim to hold title to a place they have never seen, don't want to live in, nor have any family members in many decades. What's wrong with being just American?

Is it bad to you tell your mom that 'favorite' is pronounced as "Favorite" and not "Pavorite"? She tells me that... who cares if I pronounce it the wrong way, people would understand me anyway...*btw, I'm from the Philippines... *... I think that she thinks that me and my bro think that she's stupid... because...she keeps on telling her friend on phone that my children (becoz my bro's also like that) are arrogant... she keeps on saying, "People have different talents, I may not be good at English, but I'm good at medical stuff...they shouldn't think too big of themselves..." Waaa... I can't take this anymore, she thinks we think that she's stupid... waa...help! I keep on explaining that I don't think of her as a stupid person, I just want her to know the "right" pronounciation... ugh... someone help me!
