Been there...you fight back and most certainly say you are more than capable in doing do. Don't let someone treat you poorly. Or simply say, "Hey, I don't appreciate that insinuation, that's not very nice." Call them on it, they need to see that it was a rude thing to say. Sometimes people don't realize how awful they sound, you need to point it out.
