I told her that I loved her banana bread, because I didn't want to hurt her. But it had me feeling like a king, I was sitting on the porcelain throne so long. She considers it her specialty-- should I tell her?

Are you sure it's the banana bread that caused you to have your digestive issues? Can you think of other occasions outside of eating her banana bread that you've had issues with your stomach? This could be attributed to your constant gas problems. Think long and hard.....

Actually a lot of people have this problem, specifically as we get older, bananas can cause people all sorts of stomach related problems. I haven't been able to eat bananas in 3 years (I'm 30). Just tell her that although you love her banana bread, you have found that the bananas are too hard on your stomach. She'll understand.

When I'm home alone... and my parents are out, sometimes unexpected visitors knock like three times. But I sort of run into the kitchen and shut the door so if they tried to look through the window they definately would not see me... LOL you should see me though.. i panic and skip into the kitchen. Time to h ide!!! If it's a relative like my uncle he just comes in anyway.

Tell her the truth. Banana bread is not likely to give a person runs, she may have put nuts in it and that gave you the runs. A lot of recipies call for nuts in Banana bread if that's the case just tell her to leave the nuts out and bake you your own special loaf.

If it does that, it may be best if you gently tell her that it gives you "the runs". It is best that she found out from you, then if she made it for a party and all of the guests told her, or something similar to that.

Yes. You could say, "I really love your banana nut bread, but...." I'm sure she will understand. She wouldn't want you to get upset every time you ate it.

Just tell her you love it, but that everytime you've had it, you end up sick. She will understand.

yes you should, just say it's too sweet for me, and then if she gets really mad, then say I was just kidding and then just grin, chew, and spit it out. Hope I helped!--grace
