Why are SOME people on here rude? I mean, you ask a question and they attack you.

i don't no but its true...not only do they attack you in their answers but in their questions...they attack women alot! if you don't like the comment or the question report it!

Basically it's easy for people to be even more rude when the internet seems so ethereal. Most don't get the concept they are actually talking to real people. But those who are consistently rude are rude in their real life as well. We have just given them one more outlet to be ruder. You don't have to excuse it, you merely have to ignore it. Don't answer their questions and don't let them get you down. They are small minded people.

Because some of the questions are so incredibly stupid that rude replies are the only way to "slap" the idiot who asked them.

idk. But they aren't nearly as rude in Etiquette as they are in Religion.
