I got a message sent to my email address from another user on here that was, in my opinion, quite rude. The person basically told me to keep my mouth shut because they didn't think I was right (which is debatable, I looked it up and there are conflicting things everywhere on the internet about the topic). I responded explaining why I'd answered the question the way that I did and got a nasty response back. When I tried to send another email that said, "I'm sorry you feel that way" they'd blocked the ability to send messages to them. Am I really the only person that thought that was not only very rude but cowerdly too?

I want to send a sympathy card to the family of this girl: http://www.makeachildsmile.org/2007/prev_2007_apr1.shtml . She was five years old and was ill for quite some time with a kidney disease. She had kidney transplant surgery, but died from complications of the surgery. Since I never personally knew the family or the child, I'm not sure what to say. Any suggestions?

I'm 17, pregnant, and now back with the father of my baby. The ex I referred to when I first posted this was not the father, his family just didn't think it was exceptable for me to be pregnant and therefore didn't want him to be with me. I have already practically raised my 3 nieces because my brother and his ex-wife never should have had kids to begin with and haven't been there for their children. Both I and the father have dependable jobs that pay fairly well and he is getting an apartment this Thursday, which I will move into with him (if we're still together) after I graduate high school next year. I still plan to go to college, whether I do it right after high school or I have to wait a year or two. I know it's not going to be easy but the fact is I'm prepared and sensible about it. I kept the baby because I wanted to and the father is supportive (whether we're together or not). So what is wrong with me having this baby?

The principle get highly upset and assistant principle gets irritated b/c I want to be called Ms.Lisa instead of Ms.Davis. I didnt think it should be a big deal on what name I want to be called as long as it is in respect towards me.Apparently, it was disrespectful to them, but respectful to me to be called Ms. Lisa. So, the principle and assistant warns teachers to call me Ms.Davis & have the children call me Ms. Davis. When the children thought Ms. Lisa was my last name. Now, they have some of the children disrespecting my wishes. B/c now some of the kids knows my first and last name. I was so distraught I called the school board to see if it was against the policy, but it was not. I found out it was a personal issue they have against me.My be they are jealous b/c I m really popular and well known throughout the school from the pre-k- 5th grade. So, I started to explain to the children what is really going on and to continue to call me Ms.Lisa out of respect to me and that Im tolerating

yesterday I went to the movies and as I was going up the electric stairs there was this young girls in her twenties that had very big breast and almost nothing to cover them! I mean, it caught my attention and as we got close I said "very nice" she got offended at my comments and I was really surprice at her reaction. my question is why women that dress with very little clothes exposing a lot of skin get offended when men notice them? I"m sure If Brad pitt would have made my comments she would have been like "oh thanks".

what's your take on this issue?

If you were using profanity and talking with your friends, do you stop when a woman enters the room. Do you open the door for a woman or offer her your seat. How important is it to you to show respect to women?

I've a company black tie event to attend in 2 weeks and have no idea what to wear.

I'm thinking of splurging on clothing that I can use again rather than leave it to rot in the wardrobe. Seeing I'm not a Dress person, I found a nice fancy black corset top at an evening wear shop. This will go well with my jeans for other occasions, so I am happy with it.

I think it is usually teamed with a knee-length or full-length skirt so
I'm afraid that a black corset, black slacks, and black peep-toes would not be suitable for a black-tie event.

What do you guys think?

....when you want to ask that someone in an appropriate way that you want proof that they are HIV / STD free without seeming rude / stuck up? When do you ask them about their sexual history when you want to take the relationship to the next level? Is this something that i should ask them in the beginning of the relationship? What do other people do in their relationships? I know that I'm obviously supposed to trust the other person before I decide to sleep with them, but they might not know they have something or it's been a long time since the last time they've been tested; i just don't want to offend anyone. Do newly wedded couples do the same thing? I'm not in a relationship right now, but I was just curious just in case I get a summer fling or get into a long term relationship or something. THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION!! PLEASE NO BULLSH*T ANSWERS. THANK YOU!!
