Yes, mostly when in a hurry. Usually if I do this, the amount is less than a nickel. Everywhere but at the gas station. The price is so ridiculous that I just can't let myself leave them anything.

i'm a cashier. i've gotten $20 before, so did the girl i was working with. The customer won $1000 on the lottery ticket we sold him.

I used to in the past but now that gas is so expensive, I keep all of my change. Those pennies can add up!

True story: I paid for gas. The owner said I owed another 3 cents. Gave him a nickle, told him he needed it more than I did with his attitude. (Gas nozzle was dripping and I explained this - oh well.)

It doesn't matter whether its 1 cent or 99. I don't like coins. It makes my wallet heavy! :D
