My next door nebhior has a severly mentally retarted 15 year old daughter. She is left unatteneded, and often stumbles to my door. She comes into my house, and generally makes a mess of things. She is non-verbal and not toilet trained so it is difficult to reason with her. I see her every day, walking down the streets, eating flowers, often covered in dirt and wearing only an adult diaper. How do i get my nebhior to take better care of her daughter?

I opened a shopping center door once for a woman. She turned around and gave me a dirty look,as I had apparently offended her.
So,my question is:Do you like it if a man opens the door for you? Or do you hate it?

Well, I just started dating him since a week. I am partly at fault here since I told him he could reach me anytime, even in the middle of the night. Basically, that was my way of saying that I am always there for him (what I forgot to add was that only if it's urgent or an emergency). He said he was "touched" when he heard that. So now, he is out to a conference in another city, and since the last 3 days, he has been calling me at 3-4-5am in the morning just to chat and brief me on what's going on. I am sure he knows I was asleep, but he doesn't make any attempts to hang up. Is this selfish behavior. The problem is once I take a call, I am unable to go back to bed. I have started to feel resentful about him.

How can I politely tell him to stop calling me at these hours, without him taking me wrong? He has shown respect, caring, affection, and concern for me in many other ways though.

today my neighbors have a party, there are probably 25 people in there and music/dances/etc. I have to work tomorrow (it is 12:27 already and I need to wake up at 8), how to tell them to stop it, or is it better to call the police?

Am friendly with Couple A who invite us to dinner and I think it will just be the 4 of us, when we arrive there are other couples included. Usually, this would not bother me, but Couple Bs wife does not acknowledge my presence. Couple A invited us for a barbeque at their home, and then called me to let me know that the locale was switched Couple B's home. A few hours later I contacted Couple A, stating we would not be attending the gathering, as I was tired (true). Hours later Couple B husband called to ask if we were coming for dinner. I thanked him for the invitiation, put declined the offer. Was it appropriate for Couple A to invite me to Couple B's home (as I had never received an invitation from them)? We've all known each other for 2 years, but I feel Couple B never takes an initiative to invite or include others in their plans.

i went out to eat at a very nice place but the waiter had this arrogant attitude as if my party and myself were beneath him.
We payed our bill and waited and waited for him to return with the change which he never did.Should I have sought him out to get the change it was so obvious he thought we might not leave a tip which is so stupid although his service was not good and that arrogant attitude it was really like for some reason he didnt like us it was sooo wierd!
Im still mad at myself for not confronting him! What do you think i should have done?
thanks

My friend was in a bind. She was living with some roommates who were each giving their portion of the rent to one of the roommates to pay and he was not paying the rent. Needless to say they got evicted. At the end of April she asked if she could stay with me and my bf until May 1st . She moved in on the April 25 and it is now May 27 she is STILL HERE! She has not offered me any money or offered to help out around the house. She only cleans up after herself, and makes no effort to do any extra little things to help me out around here. She used all of our laundry detergent and didn't offer to buy more.My bf and I have cooked dinner and invited her to eat with us and she has never offered the same to us.I am not a stingy person, I guess I was just raised differently.I am all for helping a friend in need, but shouldn't she show some appreciation and she offer to help buy things like toilet paper etc?My bf and I don't pay rent only utilities.Should I be charging charge her rent, how much?

Germans seem to be the worst followed closely by canadians and the U.K.
If you are from these countries please enlighten me as to your cheepness
Around here 18% is good service, 20% is great service, and 25% is for excellent service
People from other countries tend to tip about 6%-12%

If you make a pie and invite a friend over what is the best way to send some home with them? Do you place some on a plate or in a container or do you give them the tin with the pie in it and place some on a plate for yourself?

Years and years ago when I was a kid I had to have some pretty major surgery and there were some disagreements with him and my parents and it kind of made them and him have a bad relationship. I feel sort of bad I'm 18 now and I mean he wasn't a great person and was pushy to the point of being an asshole at times but hes a wonderful surgeon and because of him I can live how I do now. So do you think I should just write a letter to sort of you know apologize and explain and tell him that I really appreciate it?

a neighbor mentioned seveal times they need help cleaning their place. and belive me the place was a wreck. nothing picked up off the floor for about 7 months and nothing cleaned.
I wanted to help and I was happy to help. I started on the bedroom and with in a few hours it was looking great! What got me miffed is the entire time I was there she stood in the kitchen and talked on the phone. I saw her wipe and re wipe the same areas. I thought it was rude to talk on the phone when you have company and double rude to have someone do on the work while you talk on the phone...

I am a child of the holocaust
I suffer for my belief
I am a child of the holocaust
I live my life in grief
I have heard rumors of the showers
Nobody who goes comes back alive
But when I asked what happened
I was told that they all got sick and died
My family is gone
My sister and I are the only ones left
I hope that we will live through this
I’m not ready to take my last breathe
Why can’t others realize that we aren’t all the same
That no matter what our beliefs
Still we all feel pain
I cry every single night
Wishing that this was all just a dream
But it’s not, I’m living a nightmare
My family is never again to be seen
They took my sister for a shower this morning
And told me she would be back soon
But after an hour passed I felt a sense of doom
I went to the man who had taken her
And asked if she was coming back
But all he gave me for an answer was a wild laugh
At dinner time
I saw my sisters friend and asked her if she had seen her
But my sisters friend cried
Telling me my sister had died
That the showers were really just a gas chamber
The next day the same man came for me
Saying it was time for a shower
I told him that I wasn’t going to go
But he said that I couldn’t say no
That it was time to join my sister
He grabbed my wrist
Gave it a twist
And made me follow after
They gave me soap
But I knew it was a joke
That I wouldn’t be taking a shower
So I tried to hold my breathe
But I was taken by death
These horrible people were just given way too much power

Me and my date REALLY want to stand out for prom and do something crazy and we were planning on me (a guy) wearing a dress and her wearing a tuxedo to match it. I was wondering, do you think the school would let us into prom? I live in San Diego if that helps.
