D. I think being greedy is having more than your plate can hold. Me and my family host parties and BBQs all the time and there are MANY greedy people in my circle of family and Friends. Instead of taking a piece of cake they take 3 or 4. I don't mind people coming over and eating to get full but at least take small portions at a time. What I really can't stand is when people come over to your house get totally stuffed and take plates of food home. That's very greedy!

Eating more than a healthy amount of food is greedy and gluttonous. If people didn't eat so much the amount of land that is cleared for agriculture, the amount of water (a LIMITED resource) used for agriculture, and the amount of pollution put out by factory farms would be greatly decreased.
If you take up more than half of a sidewalk, I'd say your being a bit greedy about your food intake. Instead of spending a ridiculous amount of money decreasing your lifespan and clogging your arteries, perhaps donate some to an organization that aids hunger in third world countries. (Just to note: I am certainly not accusing anyone in this post of being obese... and "you" does not refer to the author of this post either, so no offense is meant).
On a lighter note: A healthy appetite is certainly a good thing, and I would never consider it greedy at a dinner table if someone a bit bigger than me eats more food. I never really share my food, and I hate it when I am eating and someone asks if they can "try some" and then takes a huge spoonful. I think a little possessiveness over a meal is certainly okay.

If your friends are starving and you eat in front of them without sharing that is greedy. You paid for your food and you are entitled to it, you aren't a food bank. They called you greedy because you didn't give them your food. They should go buy their own food! When I am a guest I will eat whatever is offered, I don't count how many slices of cheese should be alloted to each person, then take my share. If I want a small bunch of grapes and 4 slices of cheese and 2 big pieces of apple pie I will take what I want because it is being offered! If I skip on the meat and only eat the mashed potatoes and a big bowl of salad than so be it! If the host wants to ration portions than they should do it in the kitchen and serve the plates to each person instead of placing the food on the table to help yourself. Eating is fun!

A greedy eater IMO would be if someone ordered a pizza with a few freinds and your share divided evenly was 3 but you ate 4 or 5. Thats greedy.

C and A, or when you take as much food or anything else , you horde it so there's nothing left for anyone else to eat or share in.
Happened to me one Christmas eve, the nephews of my sister in law hoovered everything on the table and no-one stopped them. My mum ended up with a teaspoon of mashed potatoes and a little turkey. Guess who didn't get anything to eat and in those days Mickey d's etc weren't open late at night.
They grew up to be selfish little sobs too.

My answer is C. I can eat all I want and not be considered greedy, but when you eat more than your share, that's definitely greedy.

technically speaking what you are discussing is glutony...
I think all of those things make someone a gluton. A person only needs to eat so much...there is no reason to stuff your face with so much food. Although, in reality...I think we are all guilty of glutony (especially here in america).
Greedy is when you want alot of things to yourself. I don't think they are calling you greedy JUST to be mean. They are letting you know that the way you are behaving is not very sociable. You are right in that you don't have to share what you have bought with your money...but it doesn't mean that you can't share.
Sharing is caring.

Food, is not listed in the definition of Greed. I asked if you wanted fries when we went through the drive through and you said no. Touch another one of my fries and your going to be picking your false eye lashes off off the cieling... LOL
