Do you think it is gosh-darn rude when they ask a question like:
"Abortion or Free Sex?", but are only looking for someone to agree with their views and not answer their question?

One of my coworkers asks me for a ride home everyday. And it's out of my way to do so. I've been taking her home for the past two months now and I just don't know how to say no. She even has the nerves to joke to everyone that she's glad she doens't have to spend gas money! Please help! I don't want to be a mean person either!

Every time we are issued more than sufficient stationary of every kind for official purpose. We seldom find anything handy when needed. Why and who takes away all the printing papers, stapplers, etc home?

I hate it when people say "Hi! How are you?" as I'm passing them in the hall. Is it okay to just say "Hey" rather than stop walking and say "Good! How are you?" and wait for a response?

I really don't understand how this social protocol works. Do they expect me to stop and make small talk? Am I supposed to just say "good" and not reciprocate this thought-provoking question, as if I don't care how they are?

I don't really like him.
How can I make him leave?
I always leave a huge mess everywhere, so I think that might be working a bit.
Should I just put a choke hold on him?

My fiance’s grandmother slipped and fell recently and broke her hip. She had an operation and the medicine they gave her made her a pretty foggy. She is in a rehab facility now and doing somewhat better but not sure if or when she will walk again. I would like to send her a letter stating that I am sorry to hear of her accident and to keep her spirits up, and that I would like to visit her soon, etc… I’ve never really had to write a get well letter though and am kind of at a loss for putting it exactly into words. Any suggestions? They’re greatly appreciated.

I want to know how long from you initial letter and their response did it take for them to contact you again and get you booked for the show. They already responded once to me and asked for more details and then have not contacted me back yet...Does that mean they are not intrested.. if not you'd think they would tell you that.

OK, so friend number 1 gave me his road trip because he didn't like it, wasn't in his car enough to really use it etc. so i was excited, i used it for a while then, left my car at home and went back to college, so i let my best friend use it because i couldn't use it without my car. but now I called her and asked for it back because I decided I wanted my car at college with me... and i called her a couple days before I was coming home to let her know. anyway.. i get home and she said she can't find it anywhere. and now she just called me and was like i really don't know where it is... do you want me to buy you a new one. now I know she can't really afford it... but I can't either... we are both college student. soo... what do i do? i mean if i had bought it originally, then i would definetly ask her to buy me a new one.. but since it was given to me... i don't know if i should?

I work in a small office and the only bulletin board is kind of inconspicuous and nobody pays much attention to it. My grandfather died and I got a thank you card for the office for the flowers and visits. I hung it on the board. Should I mention it's there or just let them find it eventually? I also verbally thanked everyone.

I told a friend a don't tip the barber and she said it was rude.....she said her sis is a beautician in a city and charges $5 for a cut and only gets about 50% of that, so a tip is expected.

I live in a small town and i don't go to any place classy (sears), my haircuts are $15...i figure $7.50 for 20 min of work doesn't demand a tip. I was just seeing if in this case, a tip is expected or not.

He is working late tonight and I want to bring him something nice. Its a fairly relaxed environment, so I'm just going to call him and have him come outside and get it. I'm also thinking of bringing something for the other guys he works with, around 5 of them.

My first thought is cookies, because I have a friend who works at a cookie place and will get me great cookies cheap, but my boy gets sleepy after eating sweets and I don't want him to be tired at work. Suggestions?

My friend, who was about 9 years old,at the time is the subject. A boy a few years older than her use to give her wedgies, put something down her underwear, or pull her underwear back and poke her. He never inserted his finger inside her butt or tried to feel her vaginia. It seemed to her he wasn't doing it in a sexually pleasing way (he wasn't grabbing anything, just poking her), but to simply annoy her. She did, in a way, tell him to stop after two occasions, by simply sitting on a chair with a back on it so he couldn't give her a wedgie etc.. He did stop, and anytime she has seen him, he's been fine (I have seen that myself).

I ask this because of the growing number of child molestors out there.

I have been an administrative assistant for about a year now and am getting increasingly irritated with people because they seem to think I am here to spoonfeed them. A salesrep goes on a trip, I e-mail them their itinerary, and then they call me from the airport asking what terminal and flight. This happens frequently with the shop too. I print, for example, stickers and then they throw them away and expect me to print more next time they ship that item. With the companies, I deal with, it is frequently a "who me??" response I get and the runaround. If I go apeship on them, they give me some pious response like Why are you such a jerk when I am just doing my job?Being nice to people seems to be an invitation to let them walk all over you and assertive seems like just a different word for aggressive becasue they don't seem to get it unless you threaten them and then follow through with torture.

I went to do groceries last night for about $100, when i arrived home, i still had the original amount on me, as if the cashier didn´t charge me. I am not sure what happened, because i remember myself paying him. What should i do, should i bring the money back. I am thinking , this is a big corporation and they make a lot of profit and i should maybe forget about it, and on the other side i think of the cashier who makes a couple of dollars per hour, and i don´t feel comfortable thiking he will have to pay for it.
What should i do?

What do you say, when you speak to people that you know and they look at you and don't say anything? It's really rude

In the past I've said, "Do I look like a piece of glass, don't you see I'm speaking to you," jokingly. How about you???
