If a cowboy that I just met takes his hat off & puts it on my head does it have some kind of meaning? (ie: I'm going home with him.) Is it any different if I take his hat off myself & put it on my head?

" I " take my "ranch hat" off, put food for my horses in it, sometimes water, eggs and even baby chicks. " I " take off my dress hat off when entering buildings, during the national anthem, and when in a moment of prayer. " I " occasionally take my hat off and place it on my wifes head and have placed it on girls heads in my dating day's as a sign of affection and trust.........But , NOBODY..takes my hat off my head and puts it on theirs. It's just plain askin for it. As for a woman.... You want to see a fight?....walk up to a Cowboy and take his hat off and put it on your head, I ga-rone-tee, if his Cowgirl is anywhere near.....claws, fur, and clothes will be a flyin' !

Taking a cowboys hat off and putin' it on yer head is like unzippin his fly, or sayin' "lets ride cowboy".
