As you said that you already thanked everyone verbally and put up a thank you card, you covered it all.Just be sure that your card on the board is not covered up and can be seen easy.Sorry about you Grandfather.

Maybe you could also stick a ribbon or something beside the note to get their attention. Leave the note on the bulletin board long enough for them to get to see it. Maybe two or three weeks. If someone does see it, they may pass the word to others.
Is that bulletin board the only place you could put it. Maybe on the water cooler (water fountain) or in the snack area, if appropriate.

Do not mention it. They will read it. Thank people personally, but leave the card up and let them read it. I don't think it is ever a good idea to call attention to nice things that we have done.
I am sorry to hear about your grandfather. I hope you are doing better now. Take care of your self.

A woman in our dept. lost her step son and we sent some flowers, our dept. is pretty big, so she actually had two cards here, one in the lunch room and one on some filing cabinets where the majority of people in our department sit... you could consider that approach.
But, if you verbally thanked everyone, I think you're good. Just leave the card up for a long time and I imagine most people will see it.
I'm sorry for your loss.

In our office we put a sticky note on the card with everyone's name. I would then hand it to the first person and tell them to please read it, cross out or check off their name, and pass it to any person who hasn't read it yet. That makes sure everyone gets it.
