Theres a friend of mine that i talk to all the time when im bored. I always ask her wut i should do with myself when i am bored. I always say dont care wut it is as long as im not bored doing it. She used to give me ideas that i did. First she asked me to do my nails. so i lied to her and said i did em, then she said okay do ur makeup, i lied again said i did, this went on for a few days and the last thing she told me to do was dress up completly and send her pics....should i be lieing to her or actually do it since i said i would?

For example, when socialising with a group of friends where half of them are smoking, you don't really want to walk away as it is a bit rude. You don't want to keep waving your hands to get rid of the smoke either. What will you do?

What amount would you base your tip on at a dinner theatre? I just went for a 'girls night out'.. we all had separate bills (thank goodness!) and at the end of the evening the tip was calculated in as a "courtesy, suggested only".

The service was fine.. however the percentage was based on the total bill, which included the show (the value of the food in a regular restaurant would have been roughly half the price of the dinner theatre ticket) as well as all the taxes (which are HIGH here in the land of "sin tax").

Servers in this area are covered by minimum wage laws and receive at least $8 an hour.

Based on the above info, I felt that the 'suggested tip' was too high, and left less than the suggested amount. I still left $10, which I feel was more than adequate for serving one person.

Do you think that what I left was reasonable.. or too cheap.. or too generous?

Whenever someone says "I love your shoes" or "I love your shirt," I always feel compelled to respond by complimenting them about something. I usually get a funny look. Isn't it polite to compliment someone after they have complimented you? I'm American... if that makes any difference.

I am withdrawn and insecure. I like to stay to myself----in solitude, and not be around very many people, because I've been treated badly by many people before. I usually feel awkward when I first meet someone, because I really don't know what to say. I'm very standoffish and like to be off to the side and I'm not very conversational. I wish I were outgoing, because it would be nice to have really close friends for a change, someone I can call and talk to whenver I'm down, and someone I can go out with to parties or clubs, or just watch movies with every now and then, and not feel so alone all of the time---but my awkwardness won't allow me to.

Are these people being rude or is it all in my head.....?
I was at a Wal-Mart in a bad area and a Spanish guy and his wife were in the area I was looking at tvs. I walked by him while he was watching something and I said "Excuse me" to be polite and he goes "Yeah", then starts talking to his wife in Spanish.

He just said yeah real fast. Then his wife just looked at me and I stared at her right back as I muttered "Asshole" to her husband.

Then when I was leaving a scrawny 94 lb. streeth thug started staring at me because I looked in the same direction as his wife. So I stared at him right back and then I went to my car.

This was hours ago and it's bothering me. Why do I take people so much to heart? I've ALWAYS been this way and im 26. Im not a troublemaker, I am a good guy who runs his mouth when people piss him off or give them a good stare, just like any guy would.

I just don't appreciate jerks. Do I have some issues that need to be addressed?

I live in a border town in Texas. I just moved here and I do not speak Spanish. I go to a local college and have noticed that while I am working in groups with my classmates, they often begin speaking Spanish even though they are all capable of speaking English. I feel awkward reminding them that I don't understand them and sometimes I really get angry. It seems to me that this would be rude to most anybody. Am I wrong?

Every time i wear my bikini( more like a banana thong) to the beach, people stare at me and I get all kinds of whistles and "lookin hot" comments. I think its weird because I realize that I'm not that hot, maybe an 8 or 7. I've been told that really hot guys have low self esteem, so maybe I just dont want to admit to myself how hot I am. I want to post a link to a picture of me in my bikini so you people can tell me how I look, but everyone on here is mean and I'm kind of afraid to do it. Should I?
I'm also married and I want to show my wife that she better behave or she might lose me

Has anyone worked at a Country Club before? What was your experience? Your job? How much did you get paid? Where you treated badly by the members?

I'm thinking about getting a job at a Country Club as a server in the dining hall and a member of the banquet staff for private parties.

I'm wondering how much money I will make. Do rich people tip well?

Im not referring to myself of course, I dont pass wind, and if I did Im sure it would smell like roses. I can remember my brothers, when they were about 10 years old pasing wind with a match held in the area, apparently it makes the flame blue. Anyway I digress...my mother, a woman in her 60's takes great amusement in her bodily gases. She finds it especially when I am driving her somewhere in my car. I have told her that its disgusting, but she still thinks its funny. Perhaps if she read it here that someone else thinks its disgusting, she will learn to be a little more discreet. Please help.
