Put forth the effort and time that they use to critize some one grammar and such and use that energy towards focusing on more possitive things. Why do they feel the need honestly.

I was in walmart earlier today to find out if they can just take my photo negitives and put them onto a cd...without printing the photos as well...i looked around the photo department...and i found that they could(according to the info i read)....so i asked an employee about it...and they tell me that they can't.....now why would you have this posted in reality you can't.....they lady told me "this is the first time we've had this question".....why have it posted at all...it could come up sometime....

My girlfrind manages a hair salon in a college town where the majority of the population is low income! She gets paid commission plus tip, which could add up to a lot if only people would tip. She is great at her job and I hear people all the time compliment her but they just don't know to tip. I have asked why they don't tip and they never thought of it. I don't know if this is true or not, but she has not confronted customers and doesn't know how. How do you let people know that a lof of someones income depends on a tip without sounding pushy?

My sister is graduating in May. She is the first person in the family to earn a BA. We are close. I thought about getting her a trip somewhere, but then realized she probably will need the money more. I am in college too, and pretty broke, but am thinking of sacrificing to give her a big gift. What is appropriate? Is $500 too much or too little? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

instead of sugar;?

It's the same couple of girls when I notice it ...

What should I do about it? (Besides tell them no sugar and add it myself later - that's their job to add the sugar, not mine!)

I have spoken to managers already but it keeps happening and they act all innocent.

I don't have time to go anywhere else to get my coffee.

I've done nothing to them to deserve this kind of treatment, except being much better looking than them.

Should I egg their cars in the parking lot?

Pour bags of salt on their cars?

Any other ideas?

Today is my supervisor's birthday and he's a huge tennis fan, he also plays tennis so I got him a very expensive tennis glove for his birthday. Upon opening his gift he smirked and said, " I don't wear a glove!" and threw it on the table. The rest of the staff was shocked, they had not gotten him anything, but I let them claim my gift as one from all. How would that make you feel?

My neighbors are very noisy. They apparently think it is ok for them to listen to loud music from 4-6 am in the morning. The music is so loud that even when I put on a pair of earplugs I can still hear this music. With that at about 5:30 am they turn their tv on loudly. What can I do to stop this from happening?

Ok I'm not "thin" but I am very slim since I have a very atheletic body type. My roomate is also slim and we both have the same experiences that it seems perfectly acceptable to say rude things about slim or thin people such as calling them anorexic or telling them to gain weight. There is so much hullaballoo about being sensitive to people who are overweight because it's damaging etc etc. So I don't do that at all. My mother is overweight and I get upset when my grandmother would say mean things to her about her weight but in turn my mother would jokingly ask if I was anorexic or somthing since I have my father's metabolism. Strangers take liberties in making comments on how thin you are and how gross it is etc etc loud enough for the person to hear. I'm not bothered by it but it is very rude . It's a tad hypocritical when people say "real women have curves" . So i'm not real? Why is it so ok to pick on slim people when picking on fat people is deemed unacceptable?
