It's repulsive. This seems to be especially true with men. They figure if they don't pee on their hands then they're not dirty. Excuse me...didn't you just grab your **** and aim it into the toilet? What, you think it's sterile? Get your nasty @ss back in the bathroom and wash your hands!

It's especially disgusting when women don't wash their hands. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a woman exit the stall, stop and check her hair in the mirror, RUN HER HANDS THROUGH HER HAIR, then walk out. YUCK!! Your hands are all funky, and now your hair is too!!

Then there are the people who maybe really DON'T touch anything when they pee/wipe, but you know what? You touched the flusher on the toilet, you touched the lock on the stall, you touched the door, right? What if the person who used it before you really DID pee on their hands, or maybe got something a little worse on there. You just touched the same things they did.

Oh God, this subject gets me so fired up I want to scream.

One last thing--I think what's even worse than people not washing their hands at all are the women you see who turn on a *tiny* trickle of cold water and rinse just their finger tips on one hand under the water for about 3 seconds. Why even bother?

Oh my god! I totally agree! I can't stand that! It is one of my biggest peaves I think. I love cleanliness and being clean. I'm in love with you for just bringing this all too important issue up!

When my gf's mom comes over it's the worst. You can hear when the faucet is running in my apartment (we live in Manhattan) and when I hear the toliet flush she instantly opens the door and comes out!! I don't even hear the water run at all! It drives me nuts, but I can't say anything. My gf brings it up casually later in conversation when they are alone but the lady claims she does wash he hands---BS!

You should read A Germophobe's guide to Germs. There is disgusting stuff everywhere! Do you know you're kitchen sink is the dirtiest? You will consume less bacteria if you ate out of your toliet that you would off the kitchen sink! True!

Also, I hate people who kiss their dogs. My grandma lets her dog lick all over in her lips. This is disgusting!! Our own mouths are one thing but a dogs? They like to eat their own poo sometimes! Yuck!

I think lack of handwashing and sanitiary behavior should be a crime. Fees shouls be issued. And if you are a multiple offender you should get sentenced to coomunity clean-up service and classes!

I always wash my hands after using the toilet. At my place of work, there are some workers, even people who work in the kitchen, who don't wash their hands. GROSS!!! If some one got sick and it was proved the worker did not wash their hands, the place of employment could be sued for fecal matter poisoning!

I hope not!
Personally I opt for the double wash system. Once before and once after. Wash number one because I prefer not to put everything I've touched in such close proximity to areas I like to keep as clean as possible. And wash number two, well, that should be obvious.

It's a healthy habit, but consider it a priviledge that you're able to do so. I think non-washing though, may be partially ingrained in culture. Consider in the middle east....not to be gross, but there's a reason people eat with one hand, and wipe with the other....lack of clean water.

But in the western world...your right. It's disgusting, and inappropriate, and should be taught in schools.

It does disgust me and others. I wash my hands after going to the toilet, it's hygenic and probably prevents sickness.

Some people prefer to use the alcohol hand cleaners, rather than touch those disgusting sink handles, then touch the bathroom door handle on their way out. Yuck!

I wash my hands too...I just feel so disgusted when I think about all the germs that might be on my hands if I don't wash them.
