like 18-30? There is alots of older people there! Why is that?

Because they're left over hippies and the younger nudists go naked around their house...or that's just me.

It all depends on where you go. The major factor is the cost. Memberships are usually several hundred dollars a year, and camping or hotel fees aren't cheap. Many of the larger clubs now have special membership and fee discounts for young people.
One club I visit has one weekend a month during the summer where young couples get in for the day for $5. I've seen as many as 50-60 young people there at one time. There are always kids & teens playing in the arcade, pool, or running around there.

You occasionally see the younger crowd, but not in the same numbers. The older crowd stems from the days of free-love and hippie-ness of the sixties and seventies.
Now they've all gotten older, and the younger crowd of today isn't so keen on hanging around with a bunch of 'old naked people'.

It isn't as "cool" as it used to be but there are lots of young nudists and also young people who grew up as nudists.

Young people usually have the great bodies and they know that it is not necessary to go to nudists' camps whereas older people, with the wear and tear of age, sickness, child bearing, beers, etc. - they need all the help they can get so they go to these camps to compete among themselves to see who has the least amount of flab, fat, wrinkles, stretch marks, varicose veins etc.

The places we go are full of families, all ages.... kids, parents, young couples, oldsters, alll ages. Maybe it's just the area you're visiting in?

My first thought is that as you get older you get wiser and have less body image issues.
