Im not referring to myself of course, I dont pass wind, and if I did Im sure it would smell like roses. I can remember my brothers, when they were about 10 years old pasing wind with a match held in the area, apparently it makes the flame blue. Anyway I digress...my mother, a woman in her 60's takes great amusement in her bodily gases. She finds it especially when I am driving her somewhere in my car. I have told her that its disgusting, but she still thinks its funny. Perhaps if she read it here that someone else thinks its disgusting, she will learn to be a little more discreet. Please help.

I've only known high school boys to enjoy passing gas! Me and those not seeing this as a recreation, try to leave the room when we feel one coming.

I have a friend who also revels in his own stench and thinks it is wildly funny to "treat" me to his tooting in the car. I do think it is very disgusting. Once I almost became physically ill and he stopped doing it for a couple of weeks. His brother, on the other hand, gets a big kick out of it. So, when I tell my friend to refrain from passing gas in my presence, I try to soften the blow by reminding him how much his brother thinks it funny, and to try to wait until his next visit. Hope that helps.

When a loved one passes wind in front of you it means they are comfortable with themselves and they are comfortable with you being around. I know it is disgusting but it is a passive way of saying "I love you". If they are saying "I love you" one too many times tell them to put a cork in it.

My husband, my kids, it's all a game to them. They even have a chant when they do it:
Taco, burrito, what's in your speedo, with all that gas, you're sure to float, putting around like a motor boat.
No discreetness there. Sorry. :)

You wouldent find it amusing if she is a vegetarian,you would drag her to the nearest restaurant and force her to eat meat.

i think it is a personal thing because some people just cant digest their food properly or they eat too spicy food or to much of a gaseous element like beans think of something else

I think its hilarious. When and where is the potential problem. EVERYONE does it, and if you say you don't.... your are LYING!!
At a funeral eulogy....not particularly a good time.
