think you need to get a life ,dogs dont care about names they care about if you are somthing they need to f#$%& something to eat someone to fuss or the boss

our police dog's name is Turbo. That's what we call him.

their keeper gives them a name, usually a nickname, so you can think of that dog by that nickname, however there's no need to address them.

depends on how you are talking to them and what you are talking to them about. it also depends on the "rank" of who is talking to them as well.
