I mean loud as if you're at the top of one aisle in the store and they're at the other end, you can hear them clearly. Would it drive you nuts or is it just me?

Yes, that is a difficult and somewhat awkward situation.
Some people just seem to naturally speak more loudly than others. Sometimes it's the part of the country they were raised in or the culture they're from. It's also possible that they may have a hearing problem. People who don't hear well often speak in a louder than normal voice because they don't realize they're speaking so loudly.
You should try to be understanding; you don't want to cause them humiliation by not handling the situation tactfully. You might try sharing the effort, maybe something along the lines of, "Oh, I guess we need to lower our voices a little; I think we're disturbing some of the other patrons. I tend to get a little loud when I'm really involved." said with a little smile might get the point across without embarrassment.

No, you can absoutely not have a good conversation with someone whose voice is as loud as a bullhorn.

Loud talkers are an enemy of a civilized society. I would ignore anyone who spoke to me like this; it sounds dreadfully embarrassing.

I could not take it for long.

Funny, though - I think I used to be a loud talker myself, at least in some situations. I noticed it when someone I was talking to winced everytime I opened my mouth. lol.

Peace!

Can people have conversations with Rosie O'Donnell? Usually can't get too many words in when talking to her from what I see on The View.

So I would say NO!

Well : no some people are real rude when they'd talk out
of turn it's the best way to walk up to them and say"Please
