Last week most of us didnt pay attention in math class. some people in my row started squirting each other with water bottles (we had a sub.) Now my teacher found out about it and shes making us wright appology letters. The worst thing about it is that she is making me write a letter but I didnt do anything. The reason is that she blames everything on me and she hates me. How can I wright a good fake appology letter? 6th grade

Would you return it? Keep it? What ethics would play into your decision? and finally what if it was less than $50, would you feel less tempted to take it?

Yeah I'm just curious :)

A lot of people don't appreciate me giving my opinion to the situation in this manner. But its a pretty straight forward way to give them my opinion while saying very little to nothing while at the same time, usually, ending the conversation. Is this wrong?

I went to Target the other day. It was around 9:50pm and they made an announcement that they were closing in 10 minutes. I saw an employee, they call the team members, and I told them I am in a wheelchair and that I am not done shopping. The kind team member told me that I could continue shopping as long as I wanted and that she would inform her manager I was still in the store. Around 10:30pm, I am being followed. I wheel around and its a supervisor. She told me I had to leave. I told her I would leave when I am done and that I was told I could continue shopping. She told me she had to shut down the registers and that Target was not 24 hours like Wal-Mart. She walked away angry. A few minutes later, I heard on the loudspeaker that all customers are being asked to leave the store. I ignored it and around 11:30pm, the local police came and nicely wheeled me to the register to pay for my things, then escorted me out. Why can't Target be 24 hours so I am not inconveinenced?

This past weekend I went away with someone I am becoming more friendly with. She waited too long and was not able to get a room at the place I was staying. She ended up sleeping on the floor of my very small hotel room at the Y. However, she did not offer to contribute to the room or even make a small gesture to say thanks, ie buy me a cup of coffee. I am not really desperate for the $$$ but I feel like I was taken advantage of. Should I ask for the $$ or just let it go? Thanks...

my friends and I are going to visit the Creation Museum (see website: http://answersingenesis.org/museum/) and we intend to challenge their viewpoints in a respectful manner.... I am worried because they have attack dogs (search the site, it's true).... I am against violence towards animals, so what I'm asking is, how can I peacefully calm a guard dog?

I had a very disturbing experience while riding the train from Chinatown. I saw a young black kid who was dressed in street clothes who tried to mug a well dressed black businessman who was using a Motorola sidekick and was sitting right next to me.

After unsuccessfully trying to steal the phone, he ran out of the train while tripping over the other guy’s foot. I just would like to know why he didn't mug me instead? I was sitting closer to the perpetrator and I was also holding a phone in a fairly vacant train cart. Is it because he thinks that stealing from another black person is easier to get away with or is it because he has less respect for his own race than an Asian man? Thank you for your comments and answers.

My boyfriend and I live together in my house (mom gave to me). Well his friend who lives about 1 hour away will sleep over 1-3 times a week so he doesn't have to drive home late at night. He showers, eats my food, doesn't make his bed, etc. and now is starting to wash his laundry every time he is here. He does not pay for anything like food (that he eats here nor contributes), shampoo, soap, etc. I do not know if I am being paranoid or stingy but is this too much??????

Answers greatly appreciated!! :)

A female friend invited me to her house for dinner. I am sure I will have a great time to taste her cookings... I am thinking of bring something to her house -- wines came into my mind; can anybody recommend a good brand of wine and a good place to shop for the wine? I am thinking of Whole-Food or Trade-Joes, but not very sure. I am not very much a drinker myself. Moreover, do you recommend other types of gift to bring with me? Thanks a lot!

I have lived in my apartment for years, but every spring when the snow melts, there are her butts. She's a very nice lady, and I don't want to be rude. But I have to look at the yard, too. What should I do?

This is refering back to my earlier question. I just got off the phone with her...

My friend wanted some clothes for vacation and thought she'd surprise her boyfriend with some more provocative clothing. She looked great in everything she borrowed.

Since she usually dresses so conservatively, he was shocked at this, and he was getting annoyed and jealous by all the men staring at her.

They've been together for 3 years, and he's never shown this behavior, and I've been friends with her for 10 years!

Now, he's blaming ME for ruining their vacation and implying I should pay for the trip!!!

I don't even know where to begin with this! I am in shock!

It was my idea for her to borrow the clothes and surprise him.

Now she is siding with him, and it came out inadvertently that since she looks better in the clothes than I do, that is why it never created a problem with me and my husband when I wear them!!!

How do I RETALIATE???

I know a woman---she is an acquaintance----who sometimes talks to me about her period. She tells me that she doesn't get cramps very often, but she usually gets really tired, and she complains to me when she does feel really tired.

I was just wondering, is this normal. Ladies, do you talk about your "time of the month" with guys? It doesn't really bother me. In fact, in a way, I feel kind of flattered because she must really trust me and consider me a friend if she divulges this information to me. But I always thought that women were really secretive about this stuff, talking about it only with close friends and family of the female gender (not to stereotype or anything).

My neighbour lives above me on the 2nd floor. He stomps on the floor to signal that my TV can be heard by him and causes me serious irritation. If I reduce the volume any lower, I might as well not watch TV. Please advice.

I have been noticing everytime i talk to my friends these days or in class when the teacher calls on me, Im soo nervous!. Every time I talk to my friends Im always so conscious about what Im saying that I become nervous through the entire conversation and it shows!! i don't know how to be relaxed and at-ease when I am talking to my friends & teachers. im always confused about what to say next in a conversation, i think too much and i don't know how to stop this. i know i can be a totally relaxed person, because i talk so easily with my parents and in front of the mirror. does anyone know a good way to stop being nervous in these situations?

I work in an office where I supervise student workers. I have one student worker who doesn't speak to the main boss when he speaks. Either she is talking and distracted is mostly what it seems like. I wonder if as her supervisor I should bring it to her attenttion to make sure she speaks to him
