Scientists are currently working on a way to merge the human brain with computers. They recently were able to get brain cells to latch themselves to computer chips. They are still very far from actually merging computer chips with the human brain, but this is a big step. Would you oppose this type of technology, even if people chose to use it voluntarily????

I live in Canada. I am not sure what is the proper protocol, (and I don't want to appear stingy.)
If a tip is required, how much should it be? I see on t.v. shows when people receive some parcel from someone, the receiver gives a tip. Is it a custom that is American? (I usually watch American shows)
I am kind of confused!

It is for a divorced lady (around mid 40's) moving into a townhouse with her teenage son. I will be posting the gift from Australia to Canada. So postage is an important consideration.

When you use the toilet are you Selfish? - Do you Flush the toilet first, leaving your germs on the handle, then wash your hands, so you are clean?

Or

Are you selfless? - Do you Wash your hands first, then flush, thereby not leaving your germs on the handle, but potentially picking up other people's germs and having dirty hands?

I have one, and you can't have one.
You wanna know what it is, it is for me to know and for you to find out.
If you have one, you will feel as though you shouldn't have one, but it is not something rude.
Only the Gods have the right to have one.
People have to be part of a special club to get acsess to one
It is one of them things... you know what I mean, like?
You can have one, only if your the chosen one.
You would envy me if I had it.
You should never ask for one, you should wait until you are offered one.
It is a form of forbidden pleasure.

What is this thing that I am talking about?
It is something that you long to have; and get a sick feeling in your stomach without nausia but just a tense feeling.
You would do anything to get it and the world turns to ice without it, as though everything is cold and you freeze because your left out in the cold.

What ever it is, do not believe it is forbidden, it isn't! They just want to stop your having some.

... what would you hope she understood about you?

This goes for Scots and Irishmen as well, if you wish to answer
It would be fun to know. It's quite ok if you do not wish to answer.

Thank you EVER so much!!!!

Okay, he deal is, I was at the club cause its an average Saturday night – we were 20 friends in total – guys n girls. . We walked in and settled in, we were just standing around the bar… When I noticed these 5 people sitting on a table. I hardy paid attention till I heard my name – 2 women (her friends) were talking and then they said – OMG its *my name*, then they high 5ed each other and told her I was there. I was just standing around the bar with friends, Then I started noticing she moved a chair closer to where I was – and made it obvious that she was looking at me – So I smiled a few times, and then it hit me – Every time she looked at me we all were busy smiling, laughing or taking group pictures for our album…. However she just didn’t stop looking…

Eventually we guys moved to another table – but I have no idea why she did that - What do u think is happening? What do I do? What’s going on here??

please post asap

How can you tell someone that their breath is really bad without hurting their feelings to the tenth degree. We are mutual friends and no one else wants to say anything to them. And we always wind up at dinner together and I just lose my appetite.

I have recently joined a new office, where most people are on first name terms. But other than that, the atmosphere is quite formal and stuffy. Trouble is, I need to interact with mostly those who are senior to me. To add to it, I'm female, others are mostly males. I can't seem to figure out how to address these guys--"Mr............." sounds tooooo formal, "....... ji" is not the culture around, n addressing every person as "Sir" is sumthing I'm not comfortable with. Another thing, is approaching them for chit chat a gud idea,, since they're definitely not doing it???

When I got married, everyone seemed to want a tip. Everyone I asked keep telling me to tip everyone who I used for my wedding. The prices are already out the roof and they want more? Why? They are getting paid a good amount. Why do I need to give them more? On my wedding the only person I tipped was the people serving my food. The bartenders got tips from the people, why do they need more? I also tipped my DJ but only because he did a GREAT job and I mean a GREAT job. He had people dancing all night and at times he was running around acting like he was the wedding planner. It was I didn't have to worry about anything once I got there. I think a tip is for over the top service. I do tip when I go out to eat. But that is only because they only get paid 3.13 an hour. I really think they should get paid more. Why should I have to pay for some restaurants employees? They should only get tips of they give over to top service. Does anyone else feel this way?
