"Asian" friend is so totally meaningless that you should forget about the dog story (which you made up), and focus on geography. What country in Asia are you talking about? After all, it is your "friend"--right? So you know the country. What about your "African" friends? Or your "South American" friends? I'd say American kids better learn where some countries are. No Asian could write a question as you did.
