I'm just wondering...because today at work i needed some more one dollar bills and i go " i need some more dollars too" (because i was already getting some change)....they just cracked up....why would that be so funny?

i don't think its funny. i would have said the same thing. maybe they're used to saying "ones" vs. saying "dollars". everybody is different.

Me and my friend say it all the time. I will be like do you wanna go to such and such. And she will say I don't have any dollars. And if I need to buy someting I will say I need dollars. But, we have our own language so I don't know if we count. We say sliver instead of silver lol. And all kinds of other crazy stuff.

just sounds awkward. like what kind of dollar do you need.
Ones, fives, tens, twenties?
You have to be specific for some people, just they way it is.
