Okay, he deal is, I was at the club cause its an average Saturday night – we were 20 friends in total – guys n girls. . We walked in and settled in, we were just standing around the bar… When I noticed these 5 people sitting on a table. I hardy paid attention till I heard my name – 2 women (her friends) were talking and then they said – OMG its *my name*, then they high 5ed each other and told her I was there. I was just standing around the bar with friends, Then I started noticing she moved a chair closer to where I was – and made it obvious that she was looking at me – So I smiled a few times, and then it hit me – Every time she looked at me we all were busy smiling, laughing or taking group pictures for our album…. However she just didn’t stop looking…

Eventually we guys moved to another table – but I have no idea why she did that - What do u think is happening? What do I do? What’s going on here??

please post asap

You know the anser to that...it's human nature to be curious about our partner's exes. I don't know anyone who isn't curious about the ones who came before us. She was observing to see what you were like, what you may have that she doesn't...trying to get some clues about what your life was like with him, and wondering what qualities you possess that she doesn't. We're all insecure when it comes to past loves.

Women tend to be curious about who came before them in their partners' lives. She may have heard stories about you, and she may have developed a picture in her head of what kind of woman you are. Some women like to think that the previous girlfriend was a complete witch. These ideations are normal and harmless.

However, actually seeing the ex-girlfriend is like catching sight of an exotic bird everyone thought was extinct. All sorts of questions abound: Is she prettier than me? Is she friendly? Why did they break up to begin with? Is she fat? Do I look like I'm just a replacement version of her? Do I look fat today?

I wouldn't give it a second thought. I once found out a boyfriend's ex worked at a local department store, so while he was working one day I scoped out the place and found where she worked. I kept bugging her, asking questions about stuff, and sending her on stupid quests to find things I knew they wouldn't have in my size (because I'd already checked). All just to find out what kind of chick came before me. Afterwards, I felt silly and stupid, and wondered what I'd accomplished. Besides blowing 50 bucks on clothes I didn't need because I felt obligated after all the trouble I put her through.

Alcohol makes people do dumb things. Why do you even care about these funny looks? You could avoid the club or you can continue to go but ALWAYS act as if none of them are there, and just enjoy the night with who you go with. Eventually they will stop if you don't give them any attention. As long as you go to clubs, this kind of thing will continue. That's the sort of thing you find in clubs - STUPID GAMES.

They were probably talking about you before you came in and were surprised to see you. Your Ex probably told her you were a real dog and she was surprised.

She was just seeing who her boyfriend used to date and such. She wanted to see how much better she was and she was sizing herself up to you. She wanted to see what made herself different than you. She wanted to see if you did anything if she was there.

She and her friends sound terribly immature. I'd just ignore them and try to enjoy my evening out with my friends.

She is not worth your time. She was trying to see if she could hurt you by pointing out she has him - look at it this way - be glad he has someone as insensitive and rude as her.

She was just trying to get under your skin... so to speak. She probably thought if they did that you would be intimidated and leave.
