I'd offer to drive that person to the Emergency Room after smelling MY shoes,lol.

I'd calmly explain that I'm not really into foot-smell-fetishism, and consider their smelling of my shoes to be a slight (and quite forgiveable) invasion of my privacy.

But if it was a hot girl I'd throw her my socks.

This happened to me. I work outside, and one of my co-workers would smelll our boots to make sure we had not walked in cat pee. We have a small office, and he was always complaining about something, but if you sat with your legs crossed he would bend over to smell your shoes.

My cat does this. I don't take offense to it. Shoes aren't going to smell like roses. Feet sweat.

Call your lawyer : the "smelling" guy may be a cop looking for concealed explosives or narcotics.
