I don't want to tinkle in the same room as a
little girl/teen/women do. Not right.
Same reason shower rooms are seperate in
High School.

1) Most men don't use cubicles when using the toliet, they use the urinals

2) In countries like France they don't have separate toilets, despite men still using the urinals provided.

3) Men don't like using toilets that have a "ladies used products" box in them

Having said that, all our toilets at work are cubicles, no urinals at all, and there is talk of making then unisex

Because its cheaper to build urinals for men rather than cubicals.
And if the women were allowed to walk through the same room as men who were standing at urinals, there would be problems with privacy.

Of course in Roman times, people all used to sit on benches and do their business all together.
Its partly a cultural thing.

I don't know either, apart from the urinals, but not all places have those. When there's very limited room, like on trains, airplanes etc, there is only one toilet and I've never had a problem with that!

I don't know, that's a good question. Maybe it's because men use urenils, and there's that slight chance that a woman would see his "little buddy." Or it could be that some insecure men would be uncomfortable with women being in the same room.
Personally, I don't see it as a problem. As long as people are discreet, then it's all good.

Good question in a way...

The European W.C. where there is one toilet, a tiny room with a locked door is much preferable to different bathrooms for each gender with those stalls... bathrooms where everybody can hear each other doing their business, even though they're divided by gender are pretty gross when you think about it.

ok, right here is nutrition for concept: whilst the seat is left up by skill of every person and the lavatory flushed interior the open place, all that waste aerosols into the air spreading that astonishing mess onto your hand towels, the teeth brushes, hair brushes, ect. so which you wash your arms and dry them on a towel that has in basic terms been contaminated with what you washed off of your arms. good sufficient reason to close the lavatory thoroughly? Satisfies all in my abode, adult males and females. "Seats down" (pun meant:, arms down)

Because even when a person exits the stall, there are activities, like pulling one's slip down or adjusting other undergarments that need "women only" privacy.
