I go to the University of Michigan and I am sharing a apartment with two girls who are roomates (not so much friends) and when I was living alone, I would walk around naked. Well, I have seen them in bra and panties before so one day, I came out naked and they were giggling and laughing, and eventually they started teasing me. I got an erection and they teased me. I never get aroused nude. I am only 3.5 inches erect and they kept waving their pinky fingers at me (what the heck does that mean?) and calling me names. They said if you keep going around naked, we will never stop teasing u. Should I argue with them or complain?

She's in her late 60's, spry, spunky, and likes to go to bingo and the reservation casinos. has 2 birds and lives alone, but babysits her grand-kiddos every day ( 5 to 7 of them). We live across country from her and I'm a putz for forgetting since she is the one who bought our daughter a Baby Alive (paid online -ebay last minute pricing)!

being taught in school. Like a class that teaches old school manners like holding doors and pulling out chairs. Do you think this is a lost casue? Or do you think todays youth could benefit from this?? It seems like respect and manners are so lost. No one can even say please and thank you anymore.

Does saying OK, or no problem make the person somehow less accountable for the offense or is it being polite?

During the day in the mall or supermarket parking lot would you help them if they are a different race and gender? If no WHY?
If you don't have jumper cables would you allow them to use your cell phone to call someone if they do not have a cell phone?

I just want to know what everyone else thinks... Nothing personal. Me personally I would help. But what about you think about this before you answer. Take care and enjoy your new year. Help thy neighbor.

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features
an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.
Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

THE SITUATION

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical
proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly
hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is
unleashing all of its destructive fury.

THE TEST

Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow the man looks
familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's Jesse Jackson! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under forever.
You have two options--

You can save the life of Jesse Jackson, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer
Prize-winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful politicians.

THE QUESTION

Here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic
simplicity of black and white?

I do. I'd hate to have to chase down carts after people all day. That would suck. So I help out.

Is chivalry really dead?

I find that hard to believe, as I was always brought up in a world where guys
open doors,
help you carry your stuff,
walk on the outside (of the sidewalk),
go down the stairs a step ahead of you,
push your chair in,
stand up when you rise
offer their seat to women or elderly people

Maybe I am a romantic, but it sure feels great when a guy does that for you ;)

I thought about including a card and saying things like "I'm telling the "tooth", you are a great dentist" "You take the "crown"", My "caps" off to you, "Brace" yourself for retirement. I know someone can think of something better. Any ideas?

It's gotten to the point where the people I work with think I am a total slob, which I'm not, but it is really starting to bring me down.

He never fails to remind my fiancé indeed how messy our office is. This only puts tensions between us, and recently she has started sleeping in the guest bedroom because of it. She is a Virgo, so organization is to her what Jenna Jameson is to most men.

We just recently moved into a new house, and I need more time to clean up. But how do I deal with the friend? Also, is this a sign that my marriage will be doomed? Please help.

I'm a non-smoker with allergies, and I live on the second floor of a two-story apartment building, and get along pretty well with all my neighbors.
The neighbor underneath me and next door to me both smoke cigarettes. I don't know if they smoke indoors (this may be against the rules), but a few times a week they smoke outside. If they smoke out back on the patio/balcony, it wafts in through my windows... If they smoke out front on the steps, it wafts in under my front door (there's a small gap that lets in both cold and smoke. It's not that I see them doing it... I'll be sitting in my home, even on the opposite side from where they are, and smell smoke and start looking around for what's burning until I remember to look outside.

Now, it's not fair to me that I have to inhale their unhealthy and smelly second-hand smoke, and that my home has to reek of their smell... but I know it's not fair to them to not let them smoke anywhere. Any ideas on how we can peacefully co-exist?

I was in a big box store in Calgary (won't name it), and I asked several people where a specific food item was located. One gave me a blank look and a big smile and pointed at the utensils on the shelf next to her. Another looked like a deer in the headlights, smiled, and walked away. Finally, I found an English-speaker, who told me it "wasn't in his deparment, sorry".

We (husband and I) were given a picture of my sister-in-law wedding picture. THe picture is of the whole family. THe bride, groom, parents and sibblings, my husband and I. It is 10x8. She had it framed, and was a gift. THey are getting divorced. Should I leave the picture hanging on our wall, or do we take it down and use the frame for something else. WE live in the same town, so it would be noticable if we took it down or if we left it up. We have not had divorces in this family so we don't know what would be proper.

I know when someone sneezes the polite thing to say is "bless you", but what is the appropriate thing to say, if there is one, to someone who coughs?

If a girl refers to you as youngman, what exactly does that say about what she thinks of you? Because it's just not something I hear that often. Not from someone my own age.

What can I do? Do I talk to them or do I talk to the apartmen manager? It really sucks because I don't smoke yet I am the one who at 5 sometimes 4 am has to open my windows so that I can get the smoke smell out of my apartment, and I am the one who has to freeze. I am a college student in a city where apartments usually run 900+ for a one bedroom, and the one I am in now is 700 so moving is not really an option right now. I don't know if I should get a bunch of TB masks, or if I should get one of those air filters. Can I complain to the apartment manager? What should I do? Any suggestions would be helpful and much appreciated.

I don't want to appear to be a nag but I do expect him to do his fair share of the housework because I am no-one's skivvy. Any tips on getting a bloke into the kitchen without a fight, and then on making sure he actually does the washing up properly, as opposed to a quick rinse under the cold tap, so I don't need to wash the dishes again myself later? I don't want to have to discuss this or for it to become a point of argument - I just want him to do his share of the washing up, do it willingly, without being asked. and do it well.

I have a wedding in August and have an outfit in mind already. The wedding is in Port Douglas nr Cairns, Australia. I'd like to wear white silk evening gloves with my dress but was wondering what is the correct etiquette for wearing and removing evening gloves.

I'd like to wear them for the wedding service however am unsure if it is polite/practical to remove the gloves for the wedding breakfast?

What's the etiquette? We're having a little private cerimony for the wedding and then a nice big disco party, should we invite our work colleagues' partners too? Thanks!
