I always say "Bless You," for sneezes and coughs. Nothing wrong with it. It shows the person you care about them and are asking God to bless them (to take away whatever is causing them to cough or sneeze).

"Do you have f*cking tuberculosis? Cover your mouth for Christ's sake!" Hah, just kidding. :) People say "bless you" for sneezes because eons ago, people believed that every time you sneezed, you lost a tiny bit of your soul. As far as I know, nobody believes anything about coughing, so it's not necessary to say anything to the cougher.

Robitusin.
Actually, there's nothing to say when someone coughs. If I know their not coughing because of a cold, I usually ask them if their ok. Otherwise, I just let them be.

there is really nothing to say to someone when they cough, but to be polite, try saying excuse you or bless you or anything of that line of respect

Same thing, "bless you". Or, "My goodness! Are you OK?"
"Here's a tissue" works.
One sentence that I would like to hear at work when I sneeze is "my goodness, you're sick, you should go home!" LOL, not in this lifetime!

I don't say anything unless it sounds violently ill, then, I ask them if they need anything.
