Sometimes it just feels like my butt is going to explode in a violent rage. I don't want everyone at work to hate me -- my flatulence has caused my family members to flee the country and my (now ex-) wife to leave me. I have managed to hold down a steady job for 2 weeks now and don't want to let this opportunity "pass" me by. I have tried everything except giving up refried beans; I just love them so much and don't want to give up this critical part of who I am. HELP!

Just curious. Everyone always says to live life to the fullest and this includes having the guts to tell someone how you feel-even if you are the type of person that will keep it to yourself (shy; afraid of the outcome)--I guess because you don't know what tomorrow has in store, and today could be the day when you say it-it can work out, but if you miss out-you'll never know?....Did you ever want to tell someone how much you cared or loved, but were afraid of rejection...and regret it..because you lost them to death; someone else...or wonder "what if"..Thanks.

My husband and I are planning a far out camping trip with another couple this summer. The plan is to use their 6 person tent because we will be doing almost 8 miles of hiking to get to our destination. Heres my most embarrasing question. Since we will be out almost two weeks will sharing a tent rule out any lovemaking with my husband? How does this work - in the past we've always camped alone!

My 14 yo son was cast in an educational tv pilot summer '06. He filmed the opening & was told he'd be called in Oct for more filming. We didn't hear from them, and he figured great opportunity anyway.

In October, my mom invited our son to Europe with her and his cousins. She has paid 1200 dollars down toward the trip and must pay the balance in April.
Yesterday, we got a call and learned our son was selected for the lead role in that tv pilot. Filming will be in Feb and the pilot will be announced on a nat'l talk show. there will be a world premiere of the pilot, complete with limos and a red carpet, and black tie and 'the media.'
Director says premiere might be 3 days before the Europe trip, but she hasn't been on schedule yet. When mom heard the news, she didn't even congratulate my son, just said my son has an obligation to go w/her to Europe, even if more filming started. My son said he'd hate to miss Europe, but would want to chose the show.
What's right to do?

People who do not say thankyou when you hold door for them.
Other mothers who always have something to say about your parenting.
Inpatient people who get mad if waiting in line for under 2 minutes.
People who ride your bumper to pass, only to drive slower than you were.
people who stare at you while you eat, while waiting for their food at restaurant.
People on cell phones while in company of people they so call care about.

Kids with ASBO's finding it cool, boys/girls growing up faster than they should, little girls wearing grown up clothes - over trendy. Why is everything so fast, as when I was little, we were dressed up in little girls clothes. The other day a was in a q at blockbusters and saw a girl of eight/nine wearing knee high boots, polo neck top and a short skirt - I found it distasteful.

Is it me or i our kids growing up TOO fast?!

I was at a restaurant for lunch with an elderly man that I help out. He wanted to take me out for lunch for my birthday at get margaritas. Well, I was about to order and a woman came up to ask me if I was ms. so-and-so and I replied yes, and she told me that her son was sitting over at the other table but was to shy to come say hi to me. But, he said that he was your 2nd grade student this year that you student taught. Well, I had to think twice about the margarita but I went through with it because my intention was not to get drunk, but just to have a drink with an elderly friend.

What do you think about a situation with this. I do not believe it is wrong to have a drink and not get drunk, but I know that all parents may not agree, and would not like to leave a bad impression on a student.

I was the Maid of Honor at my best friend (W)'s wedding. I do not have any experience so I bought my own dress, I went to the salon that W reserved. But I paid for my hair. After that, she asked me to go pick up the bouquet, I ended up paying $130.00 for that. When I got to the chapel with my boy friend, W told me that my boy friend can't come inside the chapel because there aren't enough chairs. So He waited outside. At the reception area, I didn't have any table assigned, so I had to stand the whole time right next to the bathrooms. After the wedding, I felt so small, I stopped talking to W. What is tradition? Does maid of honor pays for the dress, hair, make-up and bouquet and have no table and chair at the reception?

This is a broad question, but so many people just get bothered by how other people live their lives and I just wonder, why? If it bothers you don't worry about, don't associate yourself with those people, or just be friendly and realize that not everybody has to fit to your own expectations because we're all individuals.

for example somebody might give me **** about drinking or smoking pot. I don't do it excessively, I just like to have a good time. I do other things. I do sports, i eat healthy and maintain good relationships, I have really good grades - i have my **** together and am doing a lot better than people that don't drink at all. So why should people get all holier than thou on me for this? And you could extend this to anybody - people that have a lot of sex, gays, religion, the people you hang out with, etc.
