I'll tell you how I handled this ongoing problem:

I got a super TV, a comfortable loveseat with plump pillows and a soft knitted throw, and a subscription to Netflix.

I can watch whatever I please without any driving or parking, no one cares what I bring to snack on, the cats can watch with me, and I can stop the action for bathroom trips.

Problem solved.

Throw popcorn at them. If that doesn't work, throw your drink at them. Then they will have to leave. If the people who work there say anything, just look at them innocently and say, "but I don't even have a soda?!" Even if you get kicked out, it will be worth it, and you'll have missed the movie for the loud people anyway.

you should inform the workers...telling the people yourself might result into a bad situation that you dont want to get involved in and ruin the movie for many others...

Ask them that they are disturbing you and that you came there to watch a movie not to hear them talk. If they don't listen to you then tell the people who works there.

Give the "evil eye" until they shut up. Most people are there just to have a good time. So just ask them to be quite. Usually it works.

Ask them to stop politely. They may become intimidated and be quiet. If they don't settle down, find an employee and tell them of the situation.

Leave, find the manager, and have her follow you to either listen, or to point out the offenders to her. She will ask them to leave.
