She does it chronically and it really smells. She says excuse me but i don't like it when she farts but that does not cut it. I don't like it. I think it's to masculine to keep farting. She has a disease that makes her fart constantly.

Last week my daughter gave a Christmasparty for her friends .She bought cheap gifts for each of her friends. The lass indicated that she was coming to the party but did not turn up nor even phoned to sayshe had changed her mind. Our dilemma is what to do with the gift.It was not an expensive gift.

Our next door neighbor tried to sue us over something very petty. His case was thrown out of court but now he keeps spreading horrible lies about my family in my neighborhood. Those that know us also know he is full of c-r-a-p, but they also tell me when he has made up a new "drama" involving us that we have done to him lately. First of all we don't talk to the guy and haven't in months on the advice of a lawyer. Every other week it seems he has spread around a new different story about us. This week he told people we busted his car windshield out with an apple. Last couple of weeks he told people we were dumping trash in his yard. It's really crazy but the other neighbors say they don't really want to help by submitting anything in writing that he is spreading these rumors because they are afraid he will find something to sue them for as well. All we can do is ignore him and go about our business but is this man all there upstairs? I bought my house and I don't want to move.

Just seeking opinions. It seems to be college-aged people should be more mature than that. Or am I just not with the program?

I know this happens to nearly everyone; I still feel bad...

Last year me, my brother, & 2 cousins all had babies within 4 mths (each 4 wks apart - September, October, November [mine] and December [my brother].)

We exchanged gifts at Christmas b/c we all only see each other twice a year. For my nephew we get both "birthday" & Christmas gifts, but for the cousins we haven't ever exchanged gifts so last year I wrapped gifts in in baby shower paper not Christmas paper & I thought of them as baby gifts not Christmas gifts. (Last year this caught one cousin by surprise as they hadn't bought my daughter a gift...) I thought gifts was a one shot deal...

This year the awkward shoe's on the other foot... they both bought Christmas gifts for my daughter, but I never bought anything for their kids. On top of that 2 sets my of aunts & uncles bought my daughter gifts as well (My parents didn't buy anything for the cousin's kids either.)

Now we feel terrible. Do I fix it (and how?) Thx!

Some people on my job are havinng a potluck dinner and when asked if i would attend and bring something, my answer was no. The potluck is going to be on my day off. Is it rude not to attend even if it is my scheduled day off?

It was a sit down dinner, my daughter and her family left us to visit someone and was late getting back. Food was getting cold and we began without her, but my plans for all of us around the table was shot.

i enjoy this site and learn a lot here as well as give some insight too. It amazes me at the people that ask questions and then get offended when you answer them lol. If you dont want an answer then dont ask. Furthermore if you come here just to see if everyone is going to agree with you then you didnt want to hear an opinion other than your own and shouldnt have asked in the first place. What does everyone else think? I unlike some will not get offended if you dont agree with me lol, after all hearing others perspectives is what helps us learn new things.

I received a spa day for Christmas as a gift. It has 6 different treatments. Do I tip each person at each treatment? How much? Won't that become an expensive gift?

I have been invited to have breakfast with someone I met on a Christian forum and have gotten to know very well over several years (it's part of a gift exchange, *NOT* a romantic relationship). Normally, I would have no problems with this, but my dad (I'm 16) doesn't know I participated in the gift exchange and doesn't want me to give much more than my last name online. Even though I know him really well, I'm also a little afraid because I know how dangerous it is to meet someone online when I'm so young. How do I politely turn him down? Or should I take it? And if I take it, how should I tell or avoid my dad? Please help!
