Kinda hard to drink with your nose outside the glass!

No, it is not. Miss Manners does not answer this question outright, so I figure it can't be too taboo.

I think intent is what is important here. If you force your nose way down on purpose, that would qualify was "playing with your food (and drink)" and you should not be allowed out in public. However; your nose will go into a normal glass a little bit no matter what you do, so don't worry about it and you won't be rude to anyone.

No it is not considered bad. No one really pays that much attention to how you drink your drink unless you are gulping it down. I personally think It is easier to keep my nose out of the glass. It does not steam up the glass and I have no chance of getting snot in my drink!

i really dont think so, i mean if its a large glass then your would have to stick your nose in it. and come to think of it i see people drinking like that all of the time, plus if u tried to keep your nose out of the glass then you might end up spilling

I dont think it is... bc it is nearly imposible to drink w/o your nose being in the glass.

Depends on the size of your nose, on the glass and on the drink.
If it is wine, you should even include your nose into the process.
However if your nose is running, don’t!
