Think, think, think - What really is the right thing to do? Should I say this and hurt his/her fellings or should I just swallow my pride and forget the whole thing. I have found that the best thing to do is, like you said, keep your mouth shut and wait for the proper time to say, "I told you so".

When you are dying to say something count to 10 first in your head before speaking.
Works for me. You could also try finding new friends that arent so keen to ***** thenselves or hear bitching then it wouldnt be an issue.
It might be interesting to know that while you are bitching about others, they could very well be bitching about you as well.

i complain a lot sometimes when i'm in a bad mood. I just realize how awful i sound and stop. People don't like that, i hate being around complainers...and it just makes you look like a grumpy old lady. personally, i want to stay young and happy!

Before you say anything ask yourself: "Is what I'm about to say truthful?" "Is it helpful?" and "Is it kind?".
If it's not all 3 of those, think real hard before opening your mouth.

think about how what you say might affect the person or situation. would it be better not to say it.
i believe in complete honesty. that doesn't mean that you should say everything that you are thinking.
