She does it chronically and it really smells. She says excuse me but i don't like it when she farts but that does not cut it. I don't like it. I think it's to masculine to keep farting. She has a disease that makes her fart constantly.

Well, Gomer, if she has something wrong with her that makes her gassy, it's out of her control..right? Why don't you quit complaining and stand by her and maybe help her find some gas medicine. What a moron.

I don't think that someones daughter should fart in public but if she is a toddler or if she has a disease then she can't really help it. on the other hand if she is a teenager or thinks that she is being cute and she farts in a public place intentionally then maybe it is time for her to take some proper etiquette classes.

A. She has a disease it's not like she is doing it intentionally.
B. It is way more unhealthy for her to keep the gas inside than to expel it.

So yeah, I would let her fart her little heart out and try my best to show her that I don't mind. Because you making faces and yelling at her only makes her feel worse about herself. Yo are basically sending the message to her that it is her fault that she is sick, and she can help it, so she is not good enough because she is not trying to help it.

Bottom line, it is the disease not her.

My motto is, "I hurt my tummy for no one!" If your daughter has a disease then you are just a mean father. I have never heard of a farting disease. What is the name? Maybe she doesn't have a disease and she just wants you to smell her fart because she loves you so much.

If she has a disease, she can't help it, BUT-is there any way to control it? Have you (or she) talked to the doctor about it? I'm sure she realizes that it is unpleasant to the people around her.
Etiquette says the occurrence shouldn't be acknowledged, even with an excuse me, but if it's chronic, an explanation should be in order.

It isn't her fault if she has a disease. Now if she was doing it because she thought she was so cute she could get away with it, then thats another story. But it isn't her fault and I don't think it's appropriate for anyone to fart in public male or female!

If she has a disease then what do you expect her to do about it? Farting is not masculine, its just plain gross in company of others, but if it can't be helped..

Isn't there some enzymes that she can take to reduce the flatulance?

Use "shut eaze" developed by Navy Seals on special clandestine missions. Waste gets thru but not air (one fart and the whole mission goes in the tank.) Get the "cement" strength-it stops any noise.

Ask around when she does that in public:"Do you want fries with that?"

Get a life. She has a disease. What are you going to do? Plus, it is your child. Get a grip on yourself for Pete's sakes.

Well, for starters you should change her diet dramatically. Do something - after all it comes from the digestion process. See what works and what doesn't. You get to the source. Not blame her......???? Jeeeeeshhhhhhhhhhhh....

If she has a disease than that shows that it has nothing to do with being masculine, its about her disease! Take her to a doctor to see if she may take medication or suggest a change in diet that may aggravate the condition. This is not your daughters fault and I hope you do not treat her as such.

If your child has a disease that has that effect on her, why not ask if the gas-x pills will work on her.Masculine behavior that can not be avoided has to be tolerated, so see what her Drs. recommend for it.I would never embarrass her in front of others over it.She's only a child once......
