Is it improper to give an engagement ring as a christmas gift? The ring was so expensive I have no money left for a big present, I was going to give as both. HELP?

To me the place was open you could see a group of male senior citizens sitting in a table, talking and enjoying the afternoon. The other table were full of a younger group staring at me and my kids as is I were a insect in a bat dance. I was about to get nasty with the barman, but something in those guys eyes made me to just go to another place. Do you think l did'n stand by my rights?

Every year (last year was the first) my husband's workplace throws a Christmas party. It is to be hosted by an employee at their home. Last year we brought a poinsetta with us as a thank you.

She ended up sending us and everyone else a thank you for coming to her party. I never sent anything back. I was taken aback with a thank you for attending card. This year I plan on giving the poinsetta again. However, I'm concerned about what to do with the thank you for attending card. Should I ignore it? Or, send a card after the party (before hers is sent) thanking her once again for hosting the party?

I tend to just punch them in the face. Last night I did a monsterous amound of pixie sticks at my friends house and then my friends friend wouldn't shut up just talking about the same stupid things over and over so I punched him in the face and damn near broke out another gangfight!!!

Is this normal for people who do a lot of pixie sticks or am I just a straight up thug who belongs back in jail again?

Whats the point in giving someone a card for their birthday?
Unless you wrote it or its flowing with cash whats the point?
If you just need something to put money in, then buy a money holder card!
Unless the card is really funny or you wrote it, I dont see the point in giving it out at all.

Doesn't it suck to get a card on your birthday? Somebody spent $4 and signed their name on somebody elses poem and gave it to you. What a birthday present.....

People who give cards out, what are you thinking when you purchase one?

While eating lunch at a casual restaurant (not fast food) this past wkend a tennage girl in the booth behind us sat on the edge of the seat and flipped over her very long hair, started brushing it and fooling with it. Putting it into a ponytail. taking it out, etc. That is SO rude and unhealthy around food. Her parents were there and didn't say a word to her. I could just picture those long hairs getting into people's food. That's just one of the rude things I noticed this past weekend. Why don't parents teach their kids any better? Is it because they weren't taught any better themselves?

I don't know her very well as she works in a completely different sector at work - I fix the computers and she has something to do with the grounds. What I do know about her is that she is kind of a tree hugger (i.e into conservation and everything), that she likes bird watching and I've also heard a few stories about her wild parties and heavy drinking sessions, but that's all I've got on her. My budget is £5 and my deadline for getting a present is this Friday can anyone help me out? - Best suggestion gets the usual amount of points and a big thanks from me!

Got to :- CATCH a train, get ON a bus, and for a sandwich we ask for the filling to be ON white, brown or malted bread? In the later I am so tempted to actually put the filling on top of the bread instead of in between the slices that I might even do it at work tomorow just to see the reaction!

I am giving gifts to my college professors before the Christmas break. I am planning on giving mugs (with snowflakes painted on the outside) filled with Hershey kisses and flavored coffees or cocoas. Would it be rude or inappropriate to give my Jewish professor a gift as well, saying something like, "Happy Holidays"? Since I'm not Jewish, I have no clue on this type of thing!!!

I am a seventeen year old girl who plays soccer for my school. I was completely naked in the locker room after a game when the male janitor came in and saw me. He asked if he could touch my private parts. He tickled them. Should I tell anyone? It's not like he raped me.

Just wondering what it would look like if everytime a woman had an itch in her crotch, which does happen btw- and no, it doesn't mean we're dirty or diseased- it's an itch like every other area of our body gets-we just scratched it through our pants or skirts?? Like men do all the time- some do it like it's their JOB! Or, how about when our breasts get itchy- why should we be discreet? I know many men would say, "Don't, scratch away" so they can see us "rub" ourselves!!! Anyway, I just wanted to make men aware that you look ridiculous, and sometimes, we think YOU'RE dirty because you scratch so much!!!! LOL!!!!

We need HELP !!. What we would like to see if there is a system that we can place somewhere in one of our backyard that would interfere with his sound system when it gets too loud.. We all have concurred that the music is not bad but we don’t want to hear it inside of our house.

I shoulds say pick....but you know what I mean...like rub the inside with something, or your finger.

I always did it in school as a kid, then I realized that it might be rude, so I havent done it in front of other people for about 5 years now, and it really is an inconvenience.

So do you think it is or not?
