"WHAT'S THE ZIP CODE?" She'd never introduced herself to me, never said hi before, nothing.. she just snottily asked me the zip code and asked in such a way that I should hurry up and tell her. What would you have said or done? I told her the zip code and she didn't even say thanks. I thought that was very rude!

I also swiped a couple tips left on nearby tables on my way out.
It's not that I couldn't afford to,
It's that I love getting things for free.
I know it's wrong, but why do I enjoy it so much?

There is a lady that i met on yahoo and she has 2 young kids. I am passing through her town and asked her to join me for a meal as i pass through. She lives about 3 hours from me. Knowing babysitters aren't cheep and sometimes hard to come by last minute I invited her to bring the kids if she wants. Is that too akward or should it be ok.

I stayed with his family for Thanksgiving, and had prepared a thank-you gift to give to his mother. I'm leaving tomorrow at 9am with my boyfriend to go back to college. Should I give it to her tonight (it's already 11:15pm) or tomorrow? She's still awake.

A child that is too shy to ask for help at school, or too shy to go and say hello to the new kid. Is that child really just being selfish? Wanting people to come to them insteand of putting themselves out there?

Are gigantically loud, obnoxious farts fun?

2006-11-25 13:32:30 · 6 answers · asked by Anonymous

Im no p*ssy. The way I see it, noone is genuinely better than me. Yet I have a lifelong habit of being so-called "passive" situations in terms of taking sh*t from most people. Over the years I feel it has done me more harm in terms of doubting my own motives. Ive gotten out of this mindset lately in re-evaluating myself as a person lately. Now, Ive had confrontations before. Ive stared a seven-man beatdown in the face and have rarely seen my anger on few occasions. My question to people who have dealt with the same obsticle, what methods if any have you used to deal with people yet contain your anger; i.e. articulate you're genuine anger better and more clearly. Im afraid my anger could take things too far if popping off at the mouth with raw emotion. Im not afraid of a fight but dont want to take much more sh*t from nosy/rude people in public situations anymore. My "passive" genuitey has seemed to make me an open target for mind games, politics, etc. Any suggestions?

I find it totally bothersome of all the students posting questons and asking people to do their home work for them. Is it me or isn't that what learning is all about. But who is worse? The students asking or the people doing it for them?

If another is angry with you, for reasons beyond your grasp,
Should you sit at idle, your hands in a tight clasp?
Or should you just tell them they're full of it,
For becoming so mad at you?
No forethought of how ignorant it was,
To become so ticked at you?
When all you tried was to be there for them,
While they were there for you for their own use,
Should you mingle and try to trust yet another?
Or go off on your own, be recluse?
No matter how hard I try to refrain, from the company that ails me so,
As I try to be social, and become acquainted with people,
That river refuses to flow.
My circle of friends has a pattern,
Involving those who'd like you to lose,
Blood as you fight for your honor,
For their love, you must gain a bruise..
As I contemplate becoming a cave-dweller,
No electric, no couch, No camode....
All I ask is for some intellectual responses,
Just opinions to lighten my load.
>>Wow, the messes I get myself into! I'm too old for this crap!

My Aunt died and she will not have that many flowers at her funeral. I feel bad because I cannot afford the $50 - 150 that flowers cost from FTD florists. I was wondering if I could carry them in a bag and place them in the office when you first walk in. That way the funeral home would place them in the room where my aunt is.

I am embarassed at the thought, however I cannot afford to send flowers. Am I better off going empty handed?

Also to add, My aunt lives in a very low populated area and I dont think she will have many flowers. I would love to see a few sent flowers around her, especially for my cousin's sake.

What do you do when a child is invading your personal space, ie kicking you, pulling your hair, and the parents either do nothing or comment on how cute it is? Please, share your stories and tell me how you delt with the situation so that I may do the same.
