That's gotta be a life long question, it seems. I mean, it comes up after you get married, on a totally different scale.
Was I right to get married? Was it the right thing? Maybe I would have gotten further if I hadn't? Maybe the other way around? I wouldn't have gotten as far anyhow?
I'd say, people can spend 20 years or longer together, and still not really know if the other one cared, ya know?
Judging by the people ya see around you.
Yet, I think it can all be worth it. Like, you might miss something, if you hadn't given it a try. All the adventures, and the chance to deeply know another person on that very special level.
We risk hurt. I think we take that risk if it is offered to us, cause it's part of being human.

No...How old are you first and are you still in school???
I tell my nieces that they should date different types of guys. Why does one need a boyfriend anyways... You can have just as much fun and not have to worry about the drama of be attached and having to take care of someone else...I liked being single and being able to do what ever i wanted, when ever i wanted...I waited till i was older than dirt to get married, now I'm not in the mood to date...Enjoy your freedom...

It's best to do what is right for YOU. Boyfriends can be good, bad, and, more times than not, a combination of both. Depends on the guy!! When you're ready girl....you'll know. Nothing will stop you. Meanwhile, don't rush it!!!

Depends. Are you planning to become a nun? Or are you just wanting a bf because your frends have one? Dont be pressure to getting a bf from peer pressure. The longer you wait the better. Plus the less boyfriends you have in your life, the more people will respect you. Trust me. Guys will sleep with sluts, but marry a super-nice girl with less experience.

depends on the person. i know people who think that they cannot live without having one. and as soon as they break up...they already have somebody new!!
but for me. not having a boyfriend isn't the end of the world. you need some "me" time. and not to be all worried about "when will i have just time for me" or "when will i be able to hang out with friends without someone worrying about whom i'm with"

not nessasaraly. you should never find yourself "looking for a boyfriend" you should meet and date many guys, and if one happens to work out, then its perfectly fine to date them and enjoy yourself. if you don't have a boyfriend and want one, don't worry about it. don't be desperate, you will just end up unhappy and dissatisfied. you you are taken and unhappy with your relationship, end it for a break. do what feels right...but don't worry about it!

People have bfs because they like them enough to be their future spouse. If you have no intention of marrying them, don't be their gfs.

It's really a matter of opinion, rather than etiquette. Sometimes, yes, sometimes, no...
