No. Airlines are one place where you can relax, enjoy the service, and no tipping is either accepted or allowed. That holds for first class, business class or tourist class. So enjoy the flight, smile and say 'thank you' to the flight attendant, and that's all that is required.

No, they are there to serve the passengers. I've never heard of a tip for flight attendants and I hope I never do.

I don't think so. To the best of my knowledge, flight attendants don't expect gratuity, since food and beverage service isn't their only line of work. Technically, they are there to make sure that your flight is safe.

I was told they aren't allowed tips, but I've managed to pass some bucks to them. On trains it's different, and the service is way better.
