Unfortunately, the majority of people are white and christian, and for those who are not, and that it makes them feel uncomfortable, it is not really fair. This is because when the stores stop the religious christmas music and switch to "happy holidays" the majority of the customers who are christian complain about the lack of christmas orientation. So in order to please the masses, and hopefully bring in more money, they go with the christmas theme music. That is why they didn't turn off the music, because all a company cares about is making money.

No more than I want to hear you ramble on about how atheists like you are the only intelligent beings in the universe, but just like noone forced me to read your question, noone is forcing you to stick around the store. If it's such a big problem (even though it shouldn't be), stay at home in front of your computer and do all of your shopping online so that the rest of the world doesn't have hear you complaining and you don't have to worry about being offended by the music.

Then shop some where else.
Why do the major religions have to listen to people like you and take down religious symbols? By making such a big deal out of our stuff you are flaunting your beliefs just as much.
if this is how you feel then you should just learn to suck it up and deal.

because you are one person. If you were many that found it annoying , then I think it would be different. Everyone has a right to their beliefs, and right now everyone believes they are going to celebrate Jesus' birthday. I would recommend not going to public stoers. shop over the internet or send someone else to do your shopping.

Because we live in America- where people have the right to celebrate in their own way- I don't appreciate many of the Halloween celebrations because of my own religious beliefs, but I didn't go knocking on everyone's door asking them to take down their decorations...
Deal with it- Christmas for many people (include myself) is about celebrating the arrival of the son of God on earth...for you, I guess it's about being a grinch! Shop on the internet.... :-(

You have 2 choices, then. Either don't visit the store, or get you some ear plugs.
