1. Hopefully, you have a good relationship with your Mother. Nevertheless, always treat her kindly and with respect.
2. Take her to dinner, her choice, or bring her groceries you know she usually buys. It doesn't have to be holidays.
3. Remember 'Alice in Wonderland's Tea Party'? They were celebrating the unbirthdays, because there were more of them. Be spontaneous and thoughtful any time. It's true that a little kindness goes a long way.

Yes you should buy your mother dinner. Not just one time but everytime.... I was raised in a culture where the younger should always pay for dinner if they are taking their elder out.
