I met a very nice guy on the train. We chatted during the ride and that was so entertaining.
He gave me his email address before I got off the train. I would like to send an email to say it was nice meeting him but I hesitate because I am in a great relationship with a great guy. So my questions is if its ok for me to email the bus guy just to say hi !!!???

There is this guy in my class who really irritates me. I work very hard for my projects and my projects turns out to be the best in class. Its fine if somebody needs help. But what if somebody just tries sticking to you for some other reason - infatuation.

He keeps SMSing me love mssgs (to which i NEVER respond), he calls me for no reason at all. And this really irritates me. I find him kindof cheap by his behaviour and so want to remain away from him. what should i do?

I fear if I reject or ignore him completely he may play games against me at my back :(

All this is affecting my working ability too .. please help!!

I know sometimes they can hear you, even though you can't hear them, but even when you say 'tell me in a minute, I can't hear you' they keep going and expect an answer!

I was invited to a birthday party and I know the person, just not very well. I was told that a gift was not necessary, however, it seems to be in bad taste not to. I have no idea what a good gift would be anyway. Thoughts?

you see someone fall over if you don't know them? Or if they run for a bus but it drives off and they then do some kind of fast jog then slow down to a walk and look as if they never intended to catch the bus anyway? Or walk into a glass door?

I figured I would have better luck asking the people who actually live in the UK this question.
What the heck would people in the US know about it?
So, do you drink tea as much as we drink coffee?

cut you off? They ask you how you are doing, and as soon as they open their mouth, they change the subject. I think this is so rude. Then there are the people who, no matter what you say, will always switch the topic to talking about themselves. What's wrong with these people?

well he is the manager and not store owner...(owner is a good man but i hardly gets to see him)and this guy finds it funny that i am dedicated and commited to my job....he s rude in front of customers...once in a blue moon he gives me a compliment or so but most of the time he tells me...oh dont bother mini...thats not the way it works..people will rip you apart ...
now i truly dont understand how can he even try to make me feel bad about my basic work ethics.....just to make things more clear ..other day store was really busy i was about to finish my shift but i saw the long queue and ppl exchanging glances so i stepped in n stayed for 1/2 hr ...when i was about to leave and he came to me n said 'oh you are still here.now i ll have to pay u extra for 1/2hr.i know u were trying to do good thing but thats not how it works'.he was furious.

i felt very bad.should i be more detached from this store or shall i just quit or ignoring his silly comments will cure the problem

Most sane people agree that sexual harrassment is a bad thing... We all know the types, the office letch with his bad odours and crap jokes, the wannabe stud in the nightclub with too much aftershave and his jeans half way down his legs girating away like he's some sort of popstar, the dirty old man in the bushes...

But what if you were standing on a crowded train an you were goosed by Brad Pitt, fondled inapropriately by Angelina Jloie, or had Kylie and Jonny Depp approach you, cup your naughty bits and invite you for a threesome?

Would you still be offended? Would you consider yourself to have been violated by such unsolicited approaches, or would you be thanking God/ Allah/ Thor (insert appropriate diety here) for your good fortune?

Is sexual harrassment actually a form of discrimination against ugly, smelly types, or are you honestly able to say you would take the moral high ground and reject lewd approaches from somebody you consider to be insanely hot?

Any situation works here. Say, you're pointing out your favorite shoes in the store window and say, "I like those ones!" EVERY TIME- my boyfriend corrects me, "I like THOSE" Is it really bad english to add on "ones"??

I was browsing through some of my answers. And this "falling to pieces" guy just totally left a message on there telling me how ignorant I was. I think he was just mad because the subject had to do with divorce and children and I noticed that he was divorced and had children .I must have really touched a nerve or something but I swear I wasn't trying to offend anyone,He said I was the reason domestic violence happens because i am ignorant and I do a good job at it LOL Why do people have to be so rude?

wouldnt it be easier to just tell poeple what u r really like instead of keeping up pretenses because a person can only pretend for so long before the truth finally comes out. what the point?

Do you find women bending over and showing a bit of plumbers crack offensive? I personally find it extremely skanky...Especially if the chick has a muffin butt (too tight jeans, butt bulging over the top).

What about you?

And do guys and girls see this differently at all? Do men find it sexy or no?
