you see someone fall over if you don't know them? Or if they run for a bus but it drives off and they then do some kind of fast jog then slow down to a walk and look as if they never intended to catch the bus anyway? Or walk into a glass door?

Hell yeah you should. And you should laugh your *** off at yourself when it happens to you too. I smacked my head the other day on the monorail at Alton Towers and everyone else in the carriage was trying to pretend like they didn't see it. I was p155ing myself.

Isn't laughing an involuntary action caused by a situation which you find funny? If I find something funny, I laugh, it just happens, so you can't really choose, all you could do is try and cover it. So yeah, laugh away, people hurting themselves is quite often funny, it's a good way of turning something bad into something good, isn't it? I always laugh at those less fortunate than myself. In fact I laugh at just about everyone. And I would expect anyone to laugh at me if I did one of the above. Having a sense of humour is not immature at all, it's normal, and just because you laugh at someone falling over, doesn't mean you wish them ill or want them to be hurt. Nor does it mean you'll become isolated in later life. There's some nutters on here, isn't there?

That depends on your intention. If your intention in life is to treat others as you would like to be treated, then do not laugh. Yet if your intention in life, is to live in darkness, not careing how you treat others, and therefore receiveing the same treatment back,.then you have chosen.

Yet what you do or dont do, has an effect on yourself more then on anyone else. Wether one knows it or not.

Man is like the rich swimmer in an ocean.

For example: A rich man, goes scuba diving, and sees a baby fish , whose tail is caught in some seaweed. It squirms and squirms, but can't get free.
The man thinks its funny, and remains there enjoying the scene. Yet when he turns around, his eye's change to Fear. For there , looking at Him, is the father of the fish. And the father is a Great White Large Shark. The shark kills the man, and free's it's son.

So too, does man hurt themself , by there own actions of unawareness.

No, actually you shouldn't laugh, it really is rude. However, as soon as I find out the person is okay I can't help myself. The incidents you described have happened to me quite often in the past and I've gone into hysterical fits of laughter at myself!! Now though, because of physical problems I'm having, I fall quite often. Still, as soon as I realize I've not broken anything, I'm laughing.

The running into glass doors though....I don't care who you are, that's hysterical!!

You could, as long as you're prepared for a punch in the nose if they spot you. More importantly, taking pleasure in others misfortune is a sign of immaturity and lack of consideration. Being that way towards others in general will ultimately leave you isolated and lonely, as the people who would laugh with you would just as soon laugh at you. Grow up a bit.

I always laugh to myself if someone runs for a bus and the bus drives off. Unless they are elderly, then it's kinda sad.

Those are all funny things, and if you can't help laughing, don't fight it! Just make sure they don't see or hear you laughing, because then their day will be even more ruined than it already was, and it will be your fault! I'd expect people to laugh if they saw me slip and fall, assuming, of course, that nothing was hurt. Except my pride.

Certainly I laugh, if nobody gets hurt... But when it happens to me, I have sudden flashbacks as to when I laughed at others and feel society's payback... The laugh is then on me... What goes around, comes around... I guess the best course of action then is not to laugh at all.

it might not be right to laugh in every situation, especially when the people can hear you or see you. There are a lot of crazy people out there today and you never know what they will do.
