Have you ever met someone who told you that he or she does not need to wear deodorant because he/she does not sweat (perspire) or exude an offensive odor? Do you consider this non-deodorant wearer rude?

At my school, a lot of people ask others to dance if they like that person, but accepting the dance doesn't have to mean that you like the person back. But what if they already have a girlfriend/boyfriend? Is it rude to ask, then?

I never know how much to tip my hairdresser... I don't want to go too low but my total bill usually comes to about $120. !5% of that would be 18 dollars- which seems like a lot for a tip... what do you think?

and became severly brain damaged....Now, you have not seen this PERSON in 10 years...anyway, you ran into her at the store...THIS PERSON loves to gossip...and you know it...she say...oh Hi!!!..i say Hi...she says how are you? you say ...just fine...Before you know it , she says...."How so and so doing?"....Now mind you years ago when the accident happened she did not send a card or flowers......so SHE REALLY DOESN'T CARE, it is just gossip to tell on her part....without being RUDE can i just say..."oh, i am sorry, but we do not talk about him or that painful time anymore"....and just walk away!!! (Do you think she would get the hint that she SHOULD NOT HAVE EVER BROUGHT HIM UP BECAUSE IT WAS VERY PAINFUL??? BELIEVE ME, she TELLS!!! i am not a friend of hers...but she will ACT friendly to me!!!

When you send or receive an invitation, do the times mean the beginning (arrival) time and the time when the event is finished--or when guests should leave?

i went out for coffee the other day with a friend to Tim Horton's. She and i have gone for coffee here before and we always pay separately, each for our own.
she ordered a sandwich, coffee and then said hey maggie, add yours on there. for whatever reason i said "no you should pay for yours first." she insisted "no put your order on" again I said "no, you should pay for yours."
she fumbles in her wallet for credit card and ATM card, to which the clerk says no we only take cash.
"Well Maggie I guess you'll be paying for it!" and she laughed.
I paid for it but I felt manipulated and used.
If someone doesn't have money and is up front about it, I am ok with it. It was her approach that bothered me. I havent known her long, and I am debating ending this while there isnt much invested. She has shown her colors in other ways, also. Inviting herself over for a specific dinner, and including herself in my plans without asking are 2 examples.
Are my instincts right? Do I walk now not later?

If someone comes to my house, I answer the door in the nude without showing myself, and I inform them I'm not dressed to let them come in. If they say, "it's OK we don't mind, this is your home, you don't need to get dressed. Is it OK if I stay nude and entertain the visitors?

i wear black a lot and so does my mom..when we went to my uncles wedding, my mom had a black shirt with red roses and black pants..i had a black dress with gold on the edge of the top and bottom of the dresss, and wore black platform boots. my uncle didn't mind.

but i notice that some poeple would think i am "in grief"..or summin..

may be my uncle didn't mind because we are all jews in the family..

does it depend on your religion? i mean on one hand i heared christians think that black is a color of death/grief..but my aunt is christian..and she didn't care..in fact she complimented my dress..other people liked my differant style (boots)

help?? hehe

The card I'm giving with my present says "Showers of wishes for your bundle of joy! Happy Baby shower". Should I just put the parents names on the envelope? Or also the baby's name. (They know what they'll be naming him) Any ideas for what I should say in the card? I guess I'm mostly wondering if I should be addressing just the parents, or the parents and the baby.

I'm a waitress at a casual dining restaurant so expect my tips to usually be at least 15 to 20%. But of course that is not always the case. I treat every table as i would like to be treated. I'm not a horrible waitress because I have made very good tips before and customers tell me they love my service. Some people just DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TIP! For example, today, I got a $5 tip on a $51 tab. That's not even 10%! Then, last week, I was stiffed by a table. They left me no tip at all. I waited on them perfectly too. What some people don't understand is at most restaurants waitstaff have "tipshare" these are tips that automatically are deducted from our tips and are given to bartenders, host persons, bus boys, etc. They are taken out even if we aren't tipped. They are based on the amount of sales for the night. So if I don't get tipped by you i still owe tipshare. So basically, I have paid to wait on you!!!! I'm sorry but that doesn't pay the bills. So i want to know how much you tip!

why do you give mean answers to people's questions
if somebody else will tell you that you suck, how would you feel?
i asked because i read some answers for other persons questions and i did not liked it.
I feel sorry for you if you lost your humanity.

In mobster movies, they always drive out to the middle of nowhere, dig a hole, toss in the body and drive away. Still, it always gets found! Isn't there anything more effective than that to do?

i seem to not fit in at school. I have gotten to know some of the kids from school but now that i see them at school, its like they say hi but they dont hang out with me or talk to me the way they did when i saw them outside of school.
Im an africanamerican so i see that the other black kids dont talk to me either. they tend to group together and not accept me for who i am. Others just dont have the same interests as me and find me boring or quiet or just uninteresting!! why arent i fitting in?

I work in a restraunt and notice that when I have parents (younger and older) coming in to eat with their kids, they let their kids misbehave! If they're babies, they're worst! Don't get me wrong I LOVE children but when they come in and sit in a highchair, they sling food everywhere, spill drinks, just make a complete mess! and the worst part is that the parents think it's "cute" or something! What is it b/c you're not at home and don't care 'cause you don't have to clean up the mess? I know it's my job and I don't necessarily mind but I just think it's rude to let you're young'ins make a mess everywhere and then not have any decency to clean up at all!? Also, there are little kids and they'll run and scream and jump on booths and stuff! It's not only rude to the people that serve on you but to others around you to let your kids/babies cry and cry and you do nothing to stop it. At least go outside and try to calm them down! I just don't get it????
