Depends on the where the reunion is being held. Also how well you've kept in touch with any of these people. Are you married? Usually these things are held in a hotel ballroom. Can't go wrong with a good 3-button business suit. Center vent. Double-pleat trousers. Charcoal grey, narrow stripes, the best you can afford. Italian shoes. Black calfskin. Nice conservative silk tie. Rose-colored if you're a manly-man. Fresh haircut. Well-groomed. Look successful. Nice watch. Gold, of course. Nice Tag maybe. A Rolex is vulgar, in my opinion. Wife or gf wears a simple cocktail dress with nice heels. Color compatible to your suit. Her color accessory (scarf?) matches your tie. Or pretty close. Simple gold jewelry, understated. At these things everybody is sizing up everybody else on the success scale. Do you have your own business or are you working at Walmart? So keep 'em guessing. Always look as if you're intentionally understating your status rather than inflating it. And it helps not to talk very much about yourself. That's pretty easy to do because eveybody will want to talk about themselves. At one reunion I went to years ago, I was very noncommittal about what I did for a living. "This and that." But then I let a very inebriated woman "pry it out of me" In a conspiratorial tone I revealed that I was a professional assassin. Made quite a good living at it too. Great fun to watch it get around the room. My way of saying I find reunions a complete bore. But that's just the anti-social me.

I went to my high school reunion last month. All the guys were wearing jeans with a nice shirt, no ties or anything too formal. The girls were more elegant. Don't make any experiments with your dressing on that day.
Wear something you know for sure it looks good on you.
Our reunion took place in a fancy bar. If you have a similar case be casual. Wear something that make you feel and look good.

First of all, do you know the nature of the get-together? Is it formal, semi-formal, or casual? Whatever it is, you need to dress to best represent your accomplishments since graduation.
For the Formal I would go with a tux, the normal. But there are many options available to men on tux decisions. You could go as fancy or as original as you want. (Most tux shops have very good sales reps who will give you great advice)
For the semi-formal, that's a bit trickier. (Most reunions are semi-formal events) in that case, you would need to wear a nice pair of slacks, with a dress shirt and tie, and a jacket that could be taken off at some time during the night.
And for the casual, khaki pants are a must, with a dress shirt and tie, or a very nice polo. Dress your best no matter how formal the event.
Good luck! And I hope you have a great time!

You don't interview a wife in order to decide if your wife can go with you. This is your wife, and if she wants to go with you, she should be the only one you consider taking. I don't think the dress matters as much to you as her girth does. So, are you saying, "She's alright for day to day marriage, but, I wouldn't take her out in public where my friends are." ? I think that if you feel this way, you have no business going to your reunion, either. It's just a matter of the fact that your wife is your wife, your partner in life............and I'd really like to know your size, as well. Are you thin and have excellent manners? I ask this so that you can ask yourself this. I hope that you are this way, mannerly and well proportioned. (No, I am not a large person. I am a female, married 44 yrs, and I wear a size 2 ). I hope that you do take your wife to the reunion, for the sake of your marriage. Good luck and have a fun time!

men should dress in a manner that is similar to what they would wear to a nice restaurant or church or a Christmas dinner if that is a suit then a suit if its a dress shirt and nice pants that's fine .
but the women should dress as hot as possible wear as little as possible and as tight as possible
except if they are fat then they should wear clothes that hide there shape

If you can still fit into some of your old high school style clothes wear your favorite olden days outfit..but change into something now for the next day, or dinner..just to have fun!
Especially if you were into sports and have your old uniforms!

Dress as you usually do, that is always the best way. You aren't going into a job interview, so a suit would not be necessary.

That depends on the occassion. Is this the formal banquet? The best thing to do is to wear something that makes you feel really good. Not your everyday clothes. I am sure you have that one outfit that makes you feel like you are one handsome creature. You have to also remember that, regardless of how we would to impress or not to impress, you can't please all of the people all of time. Focus on pleasing yourself.
